Argos’s Big Red Event offers discounts of up to 50% on selected products, with a different voucher code applying to different eligible items. The event page says offers end on 13 October 2026. Check an item’s code badge and the price at checkout before buying; the headline saving is a maximum, not a discount across the whole range.
What is the Argos Big Red Event?
It is a promotion on selected Argos products. Argos advertises codes RED10, RED15, RED20, RED30 and RED50; the code and saving depend on the product. The official terms say: “Save between 10% and 50% with individual codes for each available saving. Different discount code values apply to different products. Savings applied when using discount code at checkout. Event offers end 13 October.” See Argos’s Big Red Event page and terms.

The event page covers selected products across appliances and floorcare, home and furniture, technology, toys, health and beauty, jewellery and watches, sports and leisure, baby and nursery, and garden and DIY. Examples of its current messaging include selected large kitchen appliances up to 20%, small kitchen appliances up to 30%, furniture up to 30%, rare LEGO sets with RED20, and selected Chromebooks up to 20%. These are examples, not category-wide guarantees.
How to use a Big Red code
- Open the product listing and check for a Big Red code badge. Confirm the exact item is eligible and note the code displayed.
- Add the eligible product to your basket. If buying several items, check each one’s badge: Argos says different codes apply to different products and that more than one code can be used in a basket containing multiple products.
- At the payment page, enter the code shown for the item and check that the saving appears in the order total.
- Review the final checkout price, stock, and delivery or collection options before placing the order. The checkout price and eligibility shown for your item are what matter.

TechRadar’s roundup also described Apple AirPods Pro 3 as 28% off. Argos’s event page separately displayed the AirPods Pro 3 at £219 with a RED15 badge. Those are separate snapshots with differing discount context; check the live Argos product listing and checkout rather than treating them as one synchronized offer.
How to judge whether a deal is worthwhile
- Compare the exact model and size, not just the product family name.
- Check the current checkout price after the code, then compare it with prices from other retailers if that matters to your decision.
- Confirm stock and delivery or collection availability for your location.
- Do not assume a larger percentage means a better deal: compare the price you will actually pay and the product you need.
Do not confuse the event with other Argos offers
Argos also lists technology promotions involving other codes, cashback, bundles, and separate offer terms. They are not automatically part of the Big Red Event. Check the terms on the relevant listing; the Argos Tech Offers page is separate from the event page.
