The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask icon elements were part of a Nintendo Switch Online promotion in November 2022. That does not confirm they are available to claim now: Nintendo’s current rewards change, so check the Missions & Rewards panel on your console for the live selection.
Are the Majora’s Mask icons still available?
The available record dates the promotion to November 2022. NintendoSoup reported on November 3, 2022, that Nintendo of America had named Majora’s Mask among the Nintendo 64-themed icon rewards, which refreshed weekly through December 6. That was a time-limited promotion, not confirmation of current availability. NintendoSoup’s report

How to check and create a Nintendo Switch Online icon
- Make sure your Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 console is updated and connected to the internet.
- From the HOME Menu, open Nintendo Switch Online and select your user.
- Choose Missions & Rewards, then scroll through the games and available icon elements.
- If a Majora’s Mask element appears, redeem it with Platinum Points as shown on the console.
- Open Icon Collection and combine the elements you want to use as your icon.
Nintendo’s support instructions explain the browsing and creation process in How to Create and Use a Custom Nintendo Switch Online User Icon (Missions & Rewards). Icons are assembled from three element types: Character, Background, and Frame. Some generic backgrounds and frames may be available without points; game-specific elements may require points, so check the item’s displayed requirements.
Membership and Platinum Point requirements
Nintendo Support says an active paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to redeem these icon elements. Its instructions do not specify that the Expansion Pack tier is required. The 2022 report described that historical promotion as being for Expansion Pack subscribers, so do not assume its wording establishes the requirement for a current reward; follow the eligibility shown in the console listing.

Platinum Points come from My Nintendo missions. Mission details and collection deadlines can vary, and Nintendo says points may not be granted if you do not collect them within the stated timeframe. Nintendo says an element already redeemed remains in your Icon Collection even if your membership later expires. This applies to elements you have added to the collection; it does not make an unavailable or unredeemed promotion claimable later. Nintendo Support
