Apple’s October 2026 event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2026, with a press gathering reported for 9:00 a.m. ET in Tribeca, New York. Apple has not confirmed whether the event will be livestreamed, and it has not confirmed a product lineup. The devices people expect, mainly home-focused hardware, come from press reports and rumors, not from Apple.
Date, time and location
- Date: Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
- Time: 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time, according to press invitations reported by 9to5Mac, Macworld and MacRumors. In other time zones that is 6:00 a.m. Pacific, 9:00 a.m. Eastern, 1:00 p.m. UTC and 2:00 p.m. in London (Eastern Daylight Time applies on that date).
- Location: An event called “Apple Experience” in Tribeca, New York, according to the same invitations.
- Teaser: Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, posted “Welcome home. October 13.” as reported by 9to5Mac. MacRumors also reports an October 13 product launch.
At the time of writing, Apple had not published an event announcement page that confirms these details. The date and location therefore rest on Joswiak’s post and on press reporting of the invitations. Treat them as reported until Apple confirms them directly.
Will Apple livestream the event?
Not confirmed. Macworld reports that Apple had not said whether the event would be livestreamed. 9to5Mac says it was unclear whether a full-length video would be posted online. Given Apple’s past format, a hands-on press event with separate product announcements is plausible, but that is an inference, not a confirmed format.

If you cannot attend in person, do not plan around a live stream until Apple or its newsroom says one exists. Coverage from outlets present at the event is the most likely source of details on the day.

How to follow the October 13 event
- Check Apple’s Newsroom section on its website on October 13 for an official announcement. Use it to confirm the date and time shown in this article.
- Look for a posted video. If none appears, rely on hands-on reporting from outlets present in New York.
- Compare any new product claim against Apple’s own wording, including specifications, availability and price, before acting on it.
- Use the Eastern Time figure when you check schedules, since Apple’s invitation is stated in that zone.
Should you wait for a home speaker or Apple TV?
- If you need a device now: The current HomePod mini is an existing product. Check its current availability and price on Apple’s website, because no refresh has been confirmed.
- If you can wait a few days: An official announcement on October 13 would settle which devices exist, their prices and their release timing.
- If you are relying on a rumored device: Do not plan purchases or smart-home setups around it until Apple publishes its specifications.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
