Apple has already released several major products in 2026, including iPhone 18 Pro models, new Apple Watches and AirPods, Mac mini, and Mac Studio. For the rest of the year, reporting points to possible iPad mini, iMac, MacBook Pro, Apple TV, HomePod mini, and smart-home hub updates—but Apple has not confirmed those launches. The OLED MacBook Pro redesign could also slip into early 2027.

Apple’s September 11 update says iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, and AirPods 5 became available worldwide on September 18, 2026. Mac mini and Mac Studio followed on September 22. Apple also says a Mac Studio configuration with 512GB of unified memory is scheduled for late October. See Apple’s September product announcement for the official details.
Apple’s Newsroom archive is the dated record to check for additional confirmed announcements. The products below remain reported possibilities, not an Apple-confirmed release schedule.
Products reported as possible for the rest of 2026
MacRumors’ September 22 roundup identifies seven products that could arrive around year-end. Its reporting and the outlet’s upcoming-products guide describe expectations, not guaranteed specifications or launch dates.

iPad mini
A refreshed iPad mini is reported as a possibility, with an OLED display, redesigned speaker system, and improved water resistance among the rumored changes. The chip is unclear: reporting has mentioned either A19 Pro or A20 Pro. Apple has not confirmed a new model or these specifications. If you need a small tablet now, weigh an available iPad mini against an unknown wait; do not treat the OLED or water-resistance claims as settled features of a coming product.
24-inch iMac
A 24-inch iMac refresh with an M6 chip and possibly new colors is reported as a potential year-end update. Neither the chip nor colors are confirmed by Apple.

An October announcement window is plausible based on Apple’s historical October product announcements, but Apple has not announced an October event. Products could instead be announced by press release, and a November or December announcement is less common historically. Past timing is context, not evidence of a scheduled event or a specific launch date.

MacRumors’ September 11 roundup also anticipated products later in the year and allowed that the OLED MacBook Pro might move into early 2027. Its later September 22 roundup provides a more recent near-term list, while the current guide makes the year-boundary uncertainty clear. Neither is an official Apple roadmap.
How to decide whether to wait
Separate what is available from what is rumored, then ask whether the reported change would matter to your use and how long you are willing to wait. Someone who needs a tablet now can compare current options without assuming the next iPad mini will have OLED or improved water resistance. A MacBook Pro buyer should distinguish the reported base-model chip refresh from the uncertain higher-end redesign, which could arrive in 2027.
For a firm date or confirmed specification, rely on Apple’s announcements rather than event predictions or rumor roundups. As of October 4, 2026, Apple has not confirmed the remaining products listed above or a date for its next event.
