The deals in this headline were part of a Best Buy weekend Apple sale reported on March 7, 2025; they are not current offers. HotHardware reported a 2TB, 11-inch, 4th-generation M2 iPad Pro at $999, described as $900 off, and a 42mm aluminum Apple Watch Series 10 at $299. Its “all-time low” description applied to the watch price as of that 2025 report, not to prices today.
What the Apple deals were
HotHardware’s March 7, 2025 article described a Best Buy Apple Sales Event running through that Sunday. The article is a historical account, not a retailer price archive; it does not independently verify checkout prices or establish present-day availability.
| Product | Configuration named in the report | Reported event price | What the price claim means |
|---|---|---|---|
| iPad Pro | 11-inch, 4th generation, M2 chip, 2TB storage | $999 | HotHardware described this March 2025 price as $900 off. |
| iPad Pro | M4 chip, 2TB storage | $1,899 | HotHardware described this March 2025 price as $100 off. |
| Apple Watch Series 10 | 42mm aluminum case | $299 | HotHardware reported that Best Buy offered this price and Amazon matched it at the time; the article called it the lowest price it had seen then. |
All figures and descriptions in the table are attributed to HotHardware’s report by Paul Lilly, published March 7, 2025. The sale dates have passed, and the report does not establish current prices.

What “$900 off” referred to
The headline’s iPad discount was tied to one specific configuration: an 11-inch, 4th-generation iPad Pro with an M2 processor and 2TB of built-in storage. It was not a general discount on every iPad Pro. The same report also listed a 2TB M4 iPad Pro at $1,899, with a stated $100 discount. Those two cited prices are from the 2025 event, not a current comparison.

What the Watch “all-time low” claim meant
The watch offer was for the 42mm aluminum Apple Watch Series 10. HotHardware reported a $299 Best Buy price and said Amazon matched it during the sale. Its “lowest price it had seen” language was the publisher’s assessment at the time of publication. It does not prove that $299 remains the model’s all-time low or that the same offer is available now.

- For an iPad: confirm the generation and chip (M2 or M4), 11-inch display size, and 2TB storage. A lower price on a different storage tier or generation is not the same deal.
- For a Watch: confirm Series 10, 42mm case size, and aluminum material. Case size and material can differ across listings.
- For a claimed discount or record low: compare the live price with a reliable price history or retailer listing. The 2025 article alone cannot establish a present-day lowest price.
HotHardware also named other sale items, including a 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro, 10th-generation iPad, A17 Pro iPad mini, AirPods Pro 2, a four-pack of AirTags, and USB-C AirPods Max. Their prices likewise belonged to that 2025 event and should not be treated as current offers.
