In a September 10, 2026 pricing analysis, Counterpoint said early iPhone Duo sales would “almost certainly be constrained by limited supply rather than limited demand.” That is the firm’s expectation, not a post-launch measurement. Counterpoint said the phone would initially be available in 28 markets.

Counterpoint says nearly 20 million foldable smartphones shipped in 2025, accounting for less than 2% of all smartphone shipments. Those figures describe the category, not iPhone Duo sales.
