In a HotHardware deal report published March 18, 2026, the four-pack was listed at $63, while AirPods Pro 3 were listed at $199.99, described as 20% off. Those are dated offers, not confirmed current prices. A later 9to5Mac roundup dated October 4, 2026, reported AirPods Pro 3 at Amazon for $179 against a $249 regular price.
Which product got the 36% discount?
The “up to 36% off” figure in the March 18, 2026 HotHardware report referred to Apple’s first-generation AirTag four-pack. HotHardware reported it at $63, a stated $36 saving against its reference price. The same report listed AirPods Pro 3 at $199.99 and characterized that price as 20% off; the earbud discount was not 36%. Read the March 18 deal report.
These figures describe offers reported on that date. They do not establish what either product costs now, how long an offer lasted, or what a typical discount is.

The AirTag offers are not interchangeable: they concern different generations and pack sizes. Apple’s U.S. product listing shows $29 for one AirTag and $99 for four, while its U.S. AirPods Pro 3 listing shows $249. Those are Apple listing prices, not proof of a retailer’s live deal. Is the AirPods Pro 3 offer worth considering?
Compare the price shown at checkout with the $249 U.S. Apple listing and check that the listing is for AirPods Pro 3. The later 9to5Mac report put the earbuds at $179 at Amazon on October 4, 2026, but that is also a date-specific report, not confirmation that the price remains available. Features may help decide whether the earbuds suit you, independently of a discount. Apple describes AirPods Pro 3 as offering active noise cancellation, heart-rate sensing, and hearing features. Apple also claims up to eight hours of listening time with ANC under its stated conditions; this is a manufacturer figure, not an independent test result. Which AirTag offer fits your needs?
Start by matching the offer to the generation and quantity you want. The March report concerned a first-generation four-pack at $63; the October 2 Tom’s Guide report concerned a second-generation single AirTag at $24 compared with $29.
