There is no verified, controlled head-to-head benchmark here that proves whether Apple’s A19 Pro or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 is faster. The available figures come from different sources and testing contexts: Geekbench lists A19 Pro results from iPhone 17 Pro models, while Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 is a platform Qualcomm supplies for phones made by device manufacturers.
What the comparison can—and cannot—tell you
A chip’s benchmark score is not a phone-independent verdict. The handset, software, cooling, power limits, and benchmark version can all affect results. Geekbench’s mobile chart associates A19 Pro with the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max; Qualcomm describes Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 as a smartphone platform but the official materials cited here do not identify a specific handset. Geekbench’s mobile chart and Qualcomm’s product page therefore provide different kinds of evidence, not a matched-device contest.
The figures below are useful context, but they should not be treated as scores from two chips tested under the same conditions.
Benchmark figures and their limits
| Chip and evidence | Reported result | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Apple A19 Pro in iPhone 17 Pro | Geekbench iOS CPU chart: 3158; subsequent chart: 8775. Values observed on October 7, 2026. | Live chart entries for a phone using A19 Pro, not an isolated-chip measurement. Geekbench says its CPU scores are calibrated against an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 baseline; higher scores are better. |
| Apple A19 Pro in iPhone 17 Pro Max | Geekbench iOS CPU chart: 3167; subsequent chart: 8802. Values observed on October 7, 2026. | Live chart entries for this device. The chart values can change as new results are added. |
| Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 | NanoReview lists Geekbench 6 estimates of 1214 single-core and 3314 multi-core, plus an AnTuTu 10 total estimate of 854,884. | Secondary estimates; the retrieved page does not establish test phones or a controlled cross-device protocol. These are not directly comparable with the Geekbench iOS chart entries above. |
Geekbench’s live iOS chart does not identify these entries as a year-specific study. The values are a snapshot checked October 7, 2026, not a promise that the chart will continue to show the same scores. See Geekbench’s iOS Benchmarks chart. NanoReview’s numbers are presented on its A19 Pro versus Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 comparison page; the available evidence does not verify them as matched-device results.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Because these results differ in source and test context, subtracting or ranking them as if the chips were tested in identical phones would be misleading.
What Qualcomm specifies for Snapdragon 7s Gen 4
Qualcomm lists a Kryo CPU clock speed of up to 2.7 GHz, Wi-Fi 6E, and 3GPP Release 16 5G for the platform. Its product brief also gives a maximum downlink figure of up to 2.9 Gbps. That is a platform specification, not a guarantee that every phone using the chip will reach that rate: network conditions, carrier support, device design, and regional configuration matter. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 product brief provides the listed connectivity details.

Qualcomm says the 7s Gen 4 CPU and GPU each improve by 7% over the preceding 7s generation. That is Qualcomm’s generational claim; it is not a comparison against A19 Pro and should not be read as an independent test result. Qualcomm’s product page states the claim.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesHow to choose between phones built around these chips
For a purchase, compare the actual phones available to you rather than choosing from chip names alone. The evidence here links A19 Pro to iPhone 17 Pro family devices but does not establish a particular Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 handset, so a complete device-to-device comparison requires the exact models under consideration.

- Performance: Look for results from the same benchmark version on the specific phones, and distinguish short bursts from sustained workloads.
- Thermals and battery: Check whether each phone maintains performance during longer use, how warm it gets, and how much battery the workload consumes.
- Graphics and gaming: Compare graphics tests and real games on the actual devices; a CPU score alone does not establish gaming performance.
- Cameras and display: Assess camera processing, lens hardware, screen quality, and brightness as phone-level features.
- Connectivity and software: Confirm the regional phone’s supported cellular bands, Wi-Fi features, and software-support policy rather than assuming every platform capability appears in every model.
- Price and availability: Compare current local prices and the exact storage/configuration. The cited chip evidence does not establish prices or availability for Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 phones.
These checks matter because chip capability is only one part of a phone’s performance and value. A benchmark can help compare matched devices, but the figures available for these two chips do not constitute that comparison.
