Existing code, team experience, required integrations, and support plans can outweigh those defaults. If two options still fit, build the same small workflow in each before committing.
Angular vs. React vs. Vue at a glance
| Framework | Documented model and scope | Often a good starting point when | Key decision to validate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Angular | An integrated framework with components, signals, dependency injection, routing, forms, CLI tooling, server-side rendering and static generation, and security features. | Your team wants a more integrated, opinionated platform with first-party capabilities. | Whether its conventions, prerequisites, and release/support practices fit the team and project. |
| React | A UI component model using JavaScript function components, commonly JSX, Hooks for state, and props for passing data. React does not prescribe how CSS is added. | Your team prefers to shape the surrounding libraries and conventions for its application. | Which routing, styling, state, rendering, and other tools the project will use alongside React. |
| Vue | A progressive, declarative, component-based framework built on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Its official ecosystem includes Vue Router and Pinia. | Your team wants to adopt a framework progressively using familiar web foundations. | Whether its ecosystem and the project’s requirements fit; Vue 2 maintenance has separate support and migration considerations. |
These distinctions describe each project’s documented scope and programming model—not a measured quality ranking. The official documentation does not establish a matched performance winner, comparable adoption rates, or a region-specific hiring leader.
Which framework should you choose?
Choose Angular when you want an integrated platform
Start with Angular if routing, forms, dependency injection, CLI tooling, and rendering options from one framework’s first-party platform match your needs, and your team welcomes its conventions. Its documentation also describes release and support practices, which teams should check against their upgrade plans.
Angular’s Essentials guide expects familiarity with HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript classes, and TypeScript decorators. Those are prerequisites for that guide, not proof that Angular is harder to learn than React or Vue.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Choose React when you want to shape the surrounding stack
Start with React if the component-and-Hooks model suits your team and you want to select tools and conventions around it. React components are JavaScript functions that return markup; JSX is optional but common. Hooks such as useState manage component state, while props pass data between components. Because React does not prescribe CSS handling, the team must make that and other surrounding-tool decisions deliberately.
Choose Vue when its progressive approach fits your team
Start with Vue if a declarative, component-based approach on standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fits the way your team wants to work. Vue supports both Options and Composition API styles. Its official ecosystem identifies Vue Router and Pinia for routing and state management, alongside guidance on topics such as testing, SSR, accessibility, performance, security, and TypeScript.

Vue 2 support ended on December 31, 2023, according to Vue’s official documentation. If you maintain a Vue 2 application, consult the migration guidance and evaluate your own support requirements rather than assuming Vue 3 advice applies unchanged.
Compare the project fit, not just the syntax
Before choosing, inventory what the application needs and what the team already has. Check the current official guidance for the exact versions you are considering.

- Existing code and skills: Identify reusable components, framework experience, architecture, and migration costs. A team’s familiarity is project-specific; do not assume one option is inherently easiest.
- Application capabilities: List requirements for forms, routing, state management, rendering mode, testing, accessibility, internationalization, and security practices.
- Integration and delivery: Confirm required libraries, deployment constraints, and how the chosen framework fits the project’s build and release workflow.
- Long-term ownership: Review version-specific release and support guidance, expected upgrades, and who will maintain the application.
How to settle a close decision
When more than one framework meets the requirements, use a small, consistent prototype rather than arguing from general impressions. This is a practical evaluation method, not a reported head-to-head test.
- Choose one representative workflow that exercises the application’s real risks—for example, a form, a route change, shared state, and the rendering mode you need.
- Implement that same workflow in each shortlisted framework, using current supported versions and comparable scope.
- Have the people who will maintain the application review the code for clarity, integration friction, and onboarding effort.
- Check user-visible performance under conditions that reflect your application, and record how you evaluated it rather than treating a tiny prototype as a general benchmark.
- Review the upgrade path and confirm that each candidate can satisfy the project’s required integrations and support expectations.
- Choose the option that best fits those observed project-specific trade-offs; keep the assumptions and reasons with the decision.

If your framework evaluation needs clean website screenshots—for example, to compare rendered pages—ScreenshotNeo offers a one-request screenshot API and an MCP server for AI agents. Its stated behavior is to accept cookie or consent banners like a visitor and remove more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each step can be turned off. Bot checks or CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, and response headers identify the page verdict and billing status.
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for options. Its MCP server provides take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf tools for Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients. The Free plan includes 1,000 shots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. Learn about ScreenshotNeo, or sign up for 1,000 free screenshots a month, with no card.
