Amazon’s reported early U.S. phone deals include $250 off the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, $150 off the Galaxy Z Flip8 and $100 off the 512GB Galaxy S26. The Fold8 is the biggest reported dollar discount, with Gizmodo listing its 256GB model at $1,650 and 512GB model at $1,850 on September 24, 2026. These are reported prices, not checkout-verified offers; Amazon’s official Prime Big Deal Days event is scheduled for October 6–7, 2026.
What Amazon early phone deals were reported?
The following U.S. offers were reported before Amazon’s main Prime Big Deal Days event. Prices and availability may change, and the reports do not establish that the offers remain live.
| Phone and configuration | Reported offer | Merchant and source |
|---|---|---|
| Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, 256GB | $1,650, which Gizmodo described as $250 below its stated $1,900 usual starting price | Amazon U.S.; Gizmodo, September 24, 2026 |
| Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, 512GB | $1,850, which Gizmodo described as $250 below its stated $2,100 price | Amazon U.S.; Gizmodo, September 24, 2026 |
| Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 | $250 off | Amazon U.S.; PhoneArena roundup updated October 2, 2026 |
| Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 | $150 off; PhoneArena’s detailed Samsung roundup says the offer was limited to a color variant | Amazon U.S.; PhoneArena roundup updated October 2, 2026 |
| Samsung Galaxy S26, 512GB | $100 off | Amazon U.S.; PhoneArena roundup updated October 2, 2026 |
Gizmodo’s reported Fold8 prices imply the same $250 reduction for each of the two listed storage options, but use the specific model and price rather than assuming all configurations have the same deal. Samsung’s U.S. product page lists a $1,899.99 starting price before trade-in and offers 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage; that manufacturer-listed starting price is not a verified price history or a guarantee of Amazon’s checkout price. Which deal may suit you?
Galaxy Z Fold8: book-style foldable
The Fold8 is the option to consider if you want a phone that opens into a larger viewing area. Samsung describes the folded display ratio as 10:16 and the unfolded ratio as 4:3. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent assessments of how apps or video will appear. The reported $250 reduction is the largest dollar discount among the cited U.S. Amazon offers.

Galaxy Z Flip8: compact clamshell
The Flip8 folds into a smaller clamshell shape rather than opening into a tablet-like screen. PhoneArena reported $150 off at Amazon U.S., while noting in its detailed Samsung roundup that the offer was tied to a color variant. Confirm the selected color and its live price before treating the reduction as available on the model you want.
Galaxy S26: conventional flagship
The 512GB Galaxy S26 is the conventional, non-folding phone in this group. PhoneArena reported $100 off at Amazon U.S. on October 2. The cited roundup does not establish listing-level details such as seller, carrier status or current checkout price.

How to check an early deal before buying
- Open the Amazon listing and confirm the exact phone model, storage capacity and, for the Flip8, color variant. Do not rely on a headline discount to apply to every configuration.
- Check the price shown at checkout and whether the offer requires Prime membership, a trade-in or another eligibility condition. The cited reports do not independently verify these listing details.
- Review the seller, shipping terms, stock status, return policy and whether the phone is unlocked or tied to a carrier; these details were not established by the reports.
- Compare the live total price with the relevant configuration’s stated price, but do not treat the reported reduction as proof of a historical low. The cited sources do not provide an independently audited price-history comparison.
What about Samsung phone deals in the UK?
GSMArena’s October 3, 2026 report described separate Amazon UK offers: £180 off the Galaxy Z Fold8 plus an additional checkout reduction, up to £200 off the Fold8 Ultra plus a checkout reduction, up to £850 off the Galaxy Z Fold7 and £450 off the Galaxy Z Flip7. These are UK-reported examples, not U.S. offers, and the checkout reductions are not quantified here. Do not compare the pound amounts directly with U.S. prices: market, taxes, configuration and the live listing differ. GSMArena.

Merchant matters, too. PhoneArena’s U.S. roundup includes reductions on some Galaxy S26 Ultra and Fold8 Ultra models at Samsung, while some older Galaxy offers in the roundup are at Woot or Walmart—not Amazon. Confirm the retailer named for the specific phone before assuming it is an Amazon deal.
