No verified evidence establishes that the Galaxy Z Flip7 costs £450 less than the Galaxy Z Flip8 at Amazon UK. A deal report says the Flip7 had a £450 discount, but that is not the same as a £450 price gap between the two phones—and the report says its prices were not verified at checkout.
Amazon UK scheduled Prime Big Deal Days for 6–7 October 2026, with offers exclusive to Prime members. Prices, stock and eligibility can change, so check the live listings and checkout totals before buying.
What the £450 figure actually means
iTechGuides summarized a GSMArena report that described a £450 discount on the Galaxy Z Flip7 at Amazon UK. The figure refers to a reported discount on the Flip7; it does not show that the Flip7’s price was £450 below the Flip8’s price. The iTechGuides report also cautioned that the prices had not been checked at checkout: iTechGuides’ Amazon phone deal report and GSMArena’s 3 October 2026 foldable-deal report.

Without both verified totals, the £450 comparison remains unconfirmed.
What to check before comparing the phones
- Match storage: Compare the same storage capacity on both models. Different configurations do not establish a like-for-like price gap.
- Compare the same kind of price: Distinguish an immediate reduction, voucher, checkout discount and trade-in-adjusted price.
- Check eligibility: Confirm whether an offer requires Prime membership or an eligible trade-in, and read the applicable terms.
- Check the listing: Verify the seller, stock status and final checkout total for each phone.

Sale timing and the Flip8’s UK availability
Amazon UK announced that Prime Big Deal Days would run on 6–7 October 2026 and that the offers were for Prime members: Amazon UK’s event announcement, published 15 September 2026. This is a limited sale window, so the announced dates do not guarantee that a particular listing remains available at a given price.

Samsung said the Galaxy Z Flip8 would go on sale in the UK on 7 August 2026: Samsung Newsroom U.K.’s announcement, published 4 August 2026. That confirms its UK-market availability, but does not establish its current Amazon price or a price difference against the Flip7.

Use the amount shown at checkout for the exact Flip7 configuration you would buy, then compare it with the equivalent Flip8 under the same conditions. Treat a headline discount as a saving against a stated reference price—not as proof of the gap between models. If either total depends on a trade-in or another condition, factor in whether you qualify before comparing.
