To link Amazon Prime to Twitch, sign in to Twitch, open its Prime Member Perks page, select Connect, then sign in to the Amazon account with the active Prime membership. After linking, visit an eligible channel, select Subscribe, and use the available Prime subscription. The subscription covers one month and does not renew automatically.
How do I link Amazon Prime to Twitch?
You can start from Twitch’s Prime Member Perks page or from a channel’s Support Panel. In either case, connect the Twitch account you want to use to the Amazon account that actually has an active Prime membership. Twitch’s account-linking guide explains the process.

- Sign in to Twitch with the account where you want to receive the benefits.
- Open the Prime Member Perks page and select Connect. Alternatively, open an eligible channel’s Support Panel, select Sign Up, then select Connect.
- When prompted, sign in to Amazon using the account with the active Prime membership, and complete the connection.
- Return to Twitch. If the channel subscription option does not appear right away, refresh the channel page.
Only one Amazon account can be linked to a Twitch account at a time. If you need to use a different Amazon account, disconnect the existing one first. Twitch may use profile information such as the Amazon account name, but Amazon account information is not publicly displayed.
How do I claim my free Twitch sub?
Linking makes the monthly channel subscription available; it does not automatically subscribe you to a channel. To use it, select an eligible channel’s Subscribe button and choose the Prime subscription option if it is shown. Twitch’s subscription guide describes the channel-subscription benefit.

- The channel must be eligible for subscriptions, and the Prime option must be available on your account and in your region.
What other Twitch benefits may come with Prime?
Amazon’s UK Prime Gaming help page describes a channel subscription and Twitch extras such as emotes, chat colors, a Prime badge, and extended broadcast storage. Offers and availability can differ by country, so check the benefits displayed in your own Amazon and Twitch accounts rather than assuming every item is available everywhere.
Amazon and Twitch support pages continue to use the name Prime Gaming, while an Amazon forum FAQ result has described a move toward the Luna name for gaming benefits. Because that branding evidence is not a formal help article and labels can vary, follow the name and instructions shown in your region’s current account pages.

Why can’t I use my Prime subscription?
Check these common causes before trying to redeem the benefit again:
- The wrong Amazon account is connected. Confirm that the linked Amazon account is the one with the active Prime membership.
- The membership is not active or the benefit is unavailable. Availability and trial eligibility vary by region. Some trial users, including Prime Student users in certain regions, may receive one Twitch subscription during a no-cost trial. That is a one-time benefit, and having used it before can make a later trial ineligible.
- The channel page has not refreshed. Refresh Twitch after linking, then check the channel’s Subscribe options again.
- The browser is interfering with the connection. Twitch suggests clearing browser cache and cookies, trying a different browser or a private window, and disabling extensions that may interfere with the sign-in flow.
If the issue is with Amazon membership status or billing, Twitch directs users to Amazon Customer Support. Disconnecting an account removes access to Twitch Prime benefits, but it does not cancel the Amazon Prime membership itself.

Is claiming a Twitch sub the same as claiming a game offer?
No. The channel subscription is redeemed on Twitch from an eligible channel’s Subscribe menu. Game and in-game offers use separate, offer-specific instructions. Amazon’s game-content help page says to sign in to the gaming offers page, choose an available offer, and select Claim; some offers involve another storefront or a linked game account, and some PC games require the Amazon Games app. Those steps are not needed to claim the Twitch channel subscription.
