Amazon’s Alexa Tablet 11 starts at $329.99 in the United States for the base configuration with 8GB RAM and 64GB storage. It has an 11-inch 2560 × 1600 IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate and runs on a MediaTek MT8189 processor. Amazon announced it on October 8, 2026, as one model in a new Alexa Tablet line. The “$329” in the headline is a rounded form of that $329.99 price.
What Amazon announced
Amazon’s October 8, 2026 launch announcement introduced the Alexa Tablet 11 as the 11-inch model in the Alexa Tablet family. The same announcement references the Alexa Tablet 12 Pro, which is the only model Amazon ties to its Pro Pen and Pro Keyboard accessories. Amazon says Alexa+ is built in, and that the new lineup runs Android with access to Google Play Store apps.
Amazon’s position is that this is a new product family with new hardware and a new operating system, not a Fire Tablet rebrand. TechCrunch (Aisha Malik, October 8, 2026) reported that characterization. It is Amazon’s own description, not an independent technical finding, and no outside teardown or hands-on testing has confirmed it yet.
Amazon’s announcement also quotes its product copy on the software side: “Alexa+ is built in with the same Dynamic Tab, voice and touch access, and personalized intelligence.” That line is corporate product language from Amazon, not a quote from a named spokesperson.

What the $329.99 price buys
The $329.99 figure is the United States starting price for the base model. Amazon’s announcement gives it as 8GB RAM and 64GB storage. Amazon’s developer specification page for the Alexa Tablet 11 also lists a 128GB storage option, but neither Amazon source states what that version costs or whether it changes the memory. Check the live listing before assuming a price for the larger storage tier.
| Configuration | Storage | RAM | Price | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Base model | 64GB | 8GB | $329.99 (US starting price) | Amazon launch announcement, October 8, 2026 |
| Larger storage option | 128GB | Not stated | Not stated | Amazon developer specification page; price not stated in the official launch materials |

The display: what 11 inches, 2560 × 1600 and 90Hz mean
A 2560 × 1600 panel at 16:10 gives the Tablet 11 more pixel detail than a 1920 × 1200 screen of the same size. Amazon’s 276 PPI figure is its own number. A 2560 × 1600 panel across exactly 11.0 inches would work out to about 274 PPI, so the small difference most likely reflects how Amazon measures the active area of the panel. Amazon’s sources do not break that down.

The 90Hz refresh rate is higher than the 60Hz common on many budget tablets, which means smoother scrolling and animation when the software supports it. Amazon’s materials do not say whether the refresh rate adapts to content, so do not assume it does. Brightness, color accuracy, and viewing-angle performance are not stated by Amazon and have not been independently measured in the sources available for this article.

The processor and memory
The MediaTek MT8189 is the chip Amazon names in its developer specifications. Its layout pairs two higher-performance Cortex-A78 cores with six efficiency-oriented Cortex-A55 cores, all clocked at 2.0GHz, plus a Mali-G57 MC2 graphics unit. Amazon says the tablet has 8GB RAM.
No benchmark, sustained-performance test, or gaming result for the Tablet 11 has been published by an independent reviewer as of October 8, 2026. A core count and memory figure tell you what the hardware is specified to do, not how fast apps will open or how the device will hold up after months of use.

Software: Android, Alexa+, and Google Play
Amazon describes Alexa+ as built into the tablet and says the lineup runs Android with access to Google Play Store apps. Those are the two software claims that most affect day-to-day use, so they are the ones to test first once review units arrive.
Amazon’s announcement does not state how long the tablet will receive software or security updates. It also does not list which Google Play apps are confirmed to work on the Tablet 11 beyond the general Play Store access claim. Treat app compatibility and update support as unverified until you can check them yourself.

Availability and shipping dates
Amazon said the tablets could be purchased on announcement day, October 8, 2026, and gave separate shipping dates by region. These dates were Amazon’s plans at launch, not confirmation that every order shipped on schedule.
| Market | Shipping date announced by Amazon | Where to buy |
|---|---|---|
| United States, Mexico, Canada | October 14, 2026 | Amazon.com; Amazon names Best Buy and Target as select retail partners |
| United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain | October 19, 2026 | Not stated in the launch announcement |
Retail availability does not indicate whether any retailer participates in an affiliate program. It only shows where Amazon said the device would be sold.
Accessories and compatibility
Amazon’s announcement says the Pro Pen and Pro Keyboard are designed exclusively for the Alexa Tablet 12 Pro. Do not assume they work with the Tablet 11. Amazon’s announcement mentions protective folios for the new tablets without naming Tablet 11 models.

What is established and what is still untested
- Established by Amazon’s own materials: the US starting price, the base memory and storage, the display panel and refresh rate, the processor model, the listed wireless and camera hardware, and the shipping dates announced for each region.
- Manufacturer claims, not independent results: the 15-hour video playback figure, the Dolby Atmos speaker description, and all performance and power characteristics implied by the chip.
- Not yet established: independent battery life, display quality, benchmark performance, app compatibility, software update length, and the price of the 128GB option.
Before you buy
- Confirm the current price on Amazon.com, and check Best Buy and Target if you prefer those retailers.
- Choose the storage variant at checkout, and confirm its price separately from the $329.99 base model.
- Check the shipping date for your country against the table above, since the dates are announcement-day plans.
- Verify that any folio, stylus, or keyboard you plan to use lists the Alexa Tablet 11 as a compatible model.
- If battery life, display quality, or app performance matter most to you, wait for independent reviews before committing.
Use those steps as a reference point; Amazon’s listing will carry the current price, shipping status, and compatibility details that this article cannot track after October 8, 2026.
