The official descriptions say there are no enemies or other danger, making it a low-pressure experience focused on flying and looking around—not combat.
What is Aery – Calm Horizon 2?
Aery – Calm Horizon 2 is built around a simple loop: fly as a bird, explore landscapes, and find crystals. EpiXR Games’ description, reproduced on the official storefronts, presents it as a game where players can take their time with the scenery; most levels can be completed quickly, with longer exploration available for those who want it.
The publisher-provided description says: “Because there are no enemies or any other danger in this game you will be able to lean back and enjoy the scenery and the sensation of flying.” That is the game’s stated design, rather than an independent hands-on assessment.
Can you just fly around and relax, or is there combat?
There is no combat described in the official listings. They say you fly through the environments, collect crystals, and encounter no enemies or other danger. The publisher’s description also says, “So lean back and take a deep breath…” These are statements about the intended tone, not evidence of a therapeutic or mental-health benefit.

Which platforms support Aery – Calm Horizon 2?
Official listings cover Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S. Xbox also lists cloud play. Store-listed hardware features describe platform capabilities, not verified performance for this particular game.

When does it release?
Release dates differ across regional storefronts. The Xbox US listing gives 2 October 2026. Nintendo’s Portugal listing gives 30 September 2026, while its France listing gives 1 October 2026. Check the store for your territory rather than treating one of these dates as a universal launch date.

Is a controller required on Switch?
The Nintendo Switch listing reviewed does not establish that a separate controller is required. Nintendo lists the Switch Pro Controller for the preceding Aery – Calm Horizon game, but that does not confirm sequel-specific compatibility. Treat the Pro Controller as an optional possibility, not a verified requirement or confirmed accessory for Calm Horizon 2.
