In the benchmark results available for these phones, Apple’s A19 in the iPhone 17 leads Google’s Tensor G6 in the standard Pixel 11 in both CPU and graphics tests. That is a result for specific phone reviews and benchmark runs—not proof that one chip is faster in every task or gives every owner a better experience.
Which phones use A19 and Tensor G6?
Apple identifies the A19 as the processor in iPhone 17, while Google lists Tensor G6 for the Pixel 11 family. Google’s product pages also mention an octa-core processor and security features including a Tensor security core and Titan M3. These product listings establish which phones use the chips, but they are not complete, directly comparable silicon specifications. Apple’s reviewed iPhone 17 page does not provide a matching full chip specification table.
That limits what a specifications comparison can responsibly say: the available sources do not document enough matching detail to compare core layouts, GPU architecture, manufacturing process, or neural-processing hardware. The device-level benchmark results below offer a more direct, though still bounded, comparison.

Two reviewed Geekbench comparisons favor iPhone 17 over the standard Pixel 11 in both single-core and multi-core results. Keep the datasets separate: Geekbench 6 and Geekbench 7 use different versions, and their scores should not be treated as one shared scale.
#1 Best Overall
- This phone is unlocked and compatible with any carrier of choice on GSM and CDMA networks (e.g. AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Cricket, Metro, Tracfone, Mint Mobile, etc.).
- Please check with your carrier to verify compatibility.
- When you receive the phone, insert a SIM card from a compatible carrier. Then, turn it on, connect to Wi-Fi, and follow the on screen prompts to activate service.
- The device does not come with headphones or a SIM card. It does include a generic (Mfi certified) charger and charging cable.
- Tested for battery health and guaranteed to have a minimum battery capacity of 80%.
| Source and test | iPhone 17 with A19 | Pixel 11 with Tensor G6 |
|---|---|---|
| Geekbench 7, Geekbench Browser comparison record (2026) | 3,166 single-core; 8,684 multi-core | 2,290 single-core; 6,186 multi-core |
| Geekbench 6, Tom’s Guide review (2026) | 3,701 single-core; 9,460 multi-core | 2,664 single-core; 7,347 multi-core |
The Geekbench 7 figures come from one comparison record, not an average across retail phones or a controlled sample. Tom’s Guide reports its Geekbench 6 results as review measurements for the named phones. Each dataset points in the same direction, but the difference in raw scores between rows is a reminder not to combine versions or portray any one result as an invariant score for a chip.
What do the graphics results show?
In Tom’s Guide’s 2026 review, iPhone 17 reached 130.97 frames per second and Pixel 11 reached 84.28 fps in 3DMark Wild Life Unlimited. This is a device-level result for that named test, and it favors iPhone 17 in the reviewed run.

The Pixel 11 Pro review reports a different graphics test, Wild Life Extreme Unlimited: 3,113 points at 18.65 fps for Pixel 11 Pro and 3,249 points at 19.46 fps for Pixel 11 Pro XL. Those Pro-family figures should not be ranked against the standard Pixel 11’s Wild Life Unlimited result as if they were the same test. Nor should Pro and Pro XL results be substituted for the standard Pixel 11 in this comparison.
What these benchmarks do—and do not—tell you
Geekbench and 3DMark results help compare performance under their particular workloads. They do not, by themselves, establish which phone will feel faster in every app or which chip offers the better overall experience.

- Everyday use: The reviewed results do not measure every app, interaction, or operating-system task.
- AI features: No matched AI benchmark with the same model and execution mode is established here, so the figures do not show which phone is more capable for AI workloads.
- Efficiency and heat: The available results do not include a comparable protocol for power consumption, battery impact, or sustained thermal performance.
- Buying decision: The chips are in phones with different operating systems. App compatibility, preferred ecosystem, phone features, support, and price are separate considerations; these benchmark results do not settle them.
Verdict: A19 leads the reviewed standard-phone benchmarks
For the iPhone 17 and standard Pixel 11 specifically, the cited Geekbench 6 and 7 results and the Wild Life Unlimited result favor A19. The evidence supports that narrow benchmark verdict, not a universal claim about every workload, Pixel 11 variant, or measure of phone quality.
