Netflix says both options are still in beta, so availability depends on your country, device, and the individual game.
Where Netflix games are available
Netflix’s TV and computer games beta is not available in every country or on every device. As of the Netflix Help Center page accessed October 5, 2026, the listed countries are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Netflix says it plans to add more countries; check its current compatibility and availability guidance because the list can change.
Having the Netflix app on a TV does not by itself mean games will work. Open Netflix, choose a profile, and look for the Games section. If it is missing, consult Netflix’s compatible-device guidance and check whether the TV or streaming device needs a software update. On a computer, go to Netflix.com using Chrome or Edge, choose a profile, and look for Games or Party Games.
A title may be available on mobile without being playable on a TV or computer. Look for a Play Game button: if it is not offered in the TV or computer interface, that title may be mobile-only. Netflix’s current games catalog can help you see which titles are listed.

How to play Netflix games on a computer
- Open Netflix.com in Chrome or Edge on a compatible PC or Mac.
- Choose your Netflix profile, then open Games or a Games or Party Games row.
- Select a title that has a Play Game button and launch it.
- Follow the game’s control prompt. Some games use the computer’s keyboard and mouse or trackpad; others ask you to pair a phone or tablet by scanning a QR code.
Netflix recommends a stable internet connection with download speeds of 10 Mbps or higher for computer play. That is a recommendation, not a guaranteed minimum or a promise that a game will perform a certain way.
How to play Netflix games on a TV
- Open the Netflix app on a compatible TV or streaming device and choose a profile.
- Open Games, select a title with a Play Game button, and start it.
- Use a phone or tablet for each player. Scan the QR code displayed on the TV to pair the device as a controller.
Netflix has separate pairing guidance for Android and iPhone or iPad. On Android, you may need to open the link and install the Netflix app before scanning again; on iPhone or iPad, the Netflix controller pop-up completes pairing. Netflix says gamepads and other controllers are not supported for TV games.

For TV play, Netflix lists the Netflix app, a stable internet connection, and a phone or tablet for each player as requirements. It recommends download speeds of 10 Mbps or higher; this is guidance, not a guaranteed performance threshold.

Do Netflix games cost extra?
Netflix says the games described here are included with membership, without ads, extra game fees, or in-app purchases. You still need a compatible device and an internet connection. The listed setup does not establish that you need to buy a new phone, TV, computer, or controller: check whether your existing devices and the game you want are supported first.

How the PC and TV rollout developed
Netflix announced its limited beta on August 14, 2023, starting with a small number of members in Canada and the UK on select TVs; computer access through PC and Mac browsers was to follow. The initial titles were Oxenfree and Molehew’s Mining Adventure. Netflix’s announcement named early TV partners including Amazon Fire TV streaming media players, Chromecast with Google TV, LG TVs, Nvidia Shield TV, Roku devices and TVs, Samsung Smart TVs, Xfinity 4K devices, and Xumo devices and TVs.
Netflix later recorded rollout updates for the US in October 2023; France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, and Spain in January 2024; eleven additional countries in February 2025; and Brazil in April 2026. Those milestones describe the rollout, not a guarantee that every device or game is currently available in each country.
