The OnePlus N6 has the larger stated battery; the OPPO A6 5G claims higher dust- and water-resistance ratings. Both advertise 120 Hz displays and charging up to 45 W. A 91mobiles snapshot dated October 5, 2026, listed the N6 ₹2,000 higher, but did not confirm matching configurations or current prices. This comparison covers the India-market OPPO A6 5G and OnePlus N6; OPPO publishes separate specifications for other regions.
OPPO A6 5G vs OnePlus N6: specifications
Manufacturer specifications are not the same as independent, side-by-side testing. In particular, battery capacities do not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use.

|---|---|---|
| Display | 17.15 cm LCD; 120 Hz refresh rate; brightness up to 1,125 nits, according to OPPO. | 120 Hz maximum refresh rate, according to OnePlus. The comparison listing describes it as LCD; that detail was not confirmed in the official product extract used here. |
| Chipset | MediaTek Dimensity 6300. | MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex. |
| Battery capacity | 7,000 mAh typical; 6,830 mAh rated, according to OPPO India. | 8,000 mAh typical; 7,780 mAh rated, according to OnePlus. OnePlus says its figures are based on its test lab and actual experience varies. |

Which phone has the better battery and charging?
The N6 has the larger manufacturer-stated capacity: 8,000 mAh typical, versus 7,000 mAh typical for the India A6 5G. The rated figures are lower on both phones, as shown in the table. These numbers describe capacity, not a shared battery-life test, so they cannot establish how many hours either will last for a particular user. OPPO notes that battery results vary with network and other factors.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.75 inches, IPS LCD, 720 x 1570 pixels
- 256GB Storage, 6GB RAM, microSDXC
- Android 15, ColorOS 15, Mediatek Dimensity 6300 (6 nm), Octa-core (2x2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55)
- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), PDAF, Auxiliary lens, Front: 8 MP, f/2.0, (wide)
Both companies specify wired charging up to 45 W. OnePlus’s 47-minute claim for charging from 1% to 50% is a manufacturer result under its stated conditions, not a guaranteed result in every situation. Charging performance depends on conditions and compatibility.
What do the resistance ratings mean?
OPPO claims IP66, IP68 and IP69 testing for the India A6 5G under controlled conditions; OnePlus lists IP65 for the N6. These are manufacturer specifications, not results from a direct comparison between the two phones. An IP rating does not make a phone waterproof or safe for every liquid, exposure or circumstance. OPPO says protection can diminish with wear and liquid damage is not covered by warranty. Check each phone’s warranty terms before relying on its rating.

- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), PDAF, Auxiliary lens, Front: 16 MP, f/2.4, (wide)
How do the cameras and software compare?
The listed rear-camera hardware differs: OPPO specifies a 50 MP main camera plus a 2 MP monochrome camera, while OnePlus specifies a 50 MP main camera. OnePlus also advertises 60 fps video, subject to a variant restriction in its launch-page footnote. The listed front-camera resolution is 8 MP for both, although OPPO’s India page promotes that figure and regional configurations should be checked.
OPPO describes the India phone’s software as ColorOS, while OnePlus specifies OxygenOS 16. OPPO’s Spain specification sheet names ColorOS 15.0, but that regional detail is not evidence of the India model’s software version. OnePlus also reports more than 615,800 on AnTuTu for the N6 using its specified version and device configuration. That is a vendor test result, not a universal independent benchmark.

OnePlus describes a “60-Month Smooth Experience” as passing fluency testing in its test lab through software, hardware and other optimizations. The company says this does not guarantee absolutely no lag and that actual experience may vary; it is not an independent review finding.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the OnePlus N6 if its larger stated battery, Dimensity 6360 Apex, OxygenOS 16 or listed main-camera features better fit your priorities—and the live price and configuration suit your budget.
- Consider the OPPO A6 5G if you value its claimed IP66/IP68/IP69 testing, 120 Hz LCD or ColorOS ecosystem, or find a lower price on a current, comparable listing.
- Compare before buying by matching RAM and storage, current local price, warranty and service availability. Neither the capacity figures nor the resistance ratings amount to an independent head-to-head test.
