What is the Infinix NOTE Edge?
The NOTE Edge is an Infinix 5G smartphone announced by Infinix Mobility. In its Jan. 6, 2026 press release, the company called it “the world’s first smartphone to adopt the new MediaTek Dimensity 7100” and said its official launch was scheduled for Jan. 19, 2026. That wording should be understood as Infinix’s announcement claim; the release does not provide an independent market audit.
The currently published specifications cited here are from Infinix Mobiles India’s NOTE Edge 5G product page. Configurations, marketing claims and any offers on that page apply to India and should not be assumed to describe every market.

Which processor does the Infinix NOTE Edge use?
The NOTE Edge uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7100, according to Infinix’s announcement and India product page. Infinix presented the phone as the first smartphone to adopt that processor. The announcement also promoted network, gaming and efficiency benefits, but those remain company claims; the cited materials do not establish independent performance comparisons or benchmarks.
How thin is the Infinix NOTE Edge?
Infinix India lists the phone as 7.2mm thick and calls it 7.2mm slim. The page’s dimensions line reads “163.1 x 7.4 x 7.2mm”; because that displayed ordering is unusual, the clearest thickness figure to use is the page’s separately stated 7.2mm claim. The figure is from the India listing.

What does the display and battery offer?
Display
The India page specifies a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its “up to 4,500 nits” brightness figure is identified as peak brightness, not a general sustained brightness measurement.
Battery and charging
Infinix lists a 6,500mAh battery and 45W charging. The page advertises a charge to 50% in 27 minutes and to 100% in 62 minutes. Infinix identifies these as results from controlled Infinix Labs tests and cautions that actual results may vary with the testing environment, so they should not be treated as guaranteed everyday charging times.

What software, camera and memory options are listed?
The India product page lists XOS 16 powered by Android 16 and a 50MP main camera with Live Photo mode. It lists 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB configurations and advertises up to 256GB storage. Its MemFusion explanation says virtual RAM uses internal storage; that additional virtual memory is not the same as physical RAM.

What should buyers know about audio, protection and regional details?
- JBL tuning: Infinix says the dual speakers are tuned by JBL. The product page clarifies that “Sound by JBL” refers to audio tuning or optimization, not JBL-made speaker hardware.
- Screen protection and ingress rating: The India page lists Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and IP65 in its FAQ copy.
