What colors do the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max come in?
Apple’s official finish names for both Pro models are burgundy, glacier, silver, and black. The names apply to the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max; Apple’s announcement does not describe separate color lineups for the two sizes. See Apple’s September 9, 2026 announcement for the product details.

In its launch-day coverage, MacRumors used the expanded labels Burgundy, Glacier Blue, Silver, and Deep Black. Apple’s own shorter labels are the most precise names to use when matching its announced finish list. MacRumors also reported that the rear aluminum and Ceramic Shield glass area are more color-matched than on the iPhone 17 Pro models; this is a design observation, not a claim about durability or how the finishes look in every lighting condition. How the final colors differ from the rumors
Before launch, reports described possible finishes as Light Blue, Dark Cherry, Dark Gray, and Silver. Those were provisional rumor names, not Apple’s final lineup. On May 8, 2026, MacRumors summarized a supply-chain report and cautioned that development was ongoing and the colors could change; Apple’s September announcement later confirmed burgundy, glacier, silver, and black instead. Another pre-event report attributed a different tentative list—Black, Light Blue, Burgundy, and Silver—to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, with Dark Red or Dark Cherry offered as alternate names for Burgundy. That report was also superseded by Apple’s announcement. MacRumors’ September 9 pre-event report.
Prices, storage, and availability context
Apple announced U.S. starting prices of $1,199 for iPhone 18 Pro and $1,299 for iPhone 18 Pro Max. Both models were announced with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB storage options. These are U.S. launch-announcement figures, not a statement of current retailer prices or stock.
