Parents can start a child’s NADRA Child Registration Certificate (CRC), commonly called a B-Form, application in the PakID mobile app. You can submit details and documents and track the application there, but NADRA may still require a visit to a Registration Centre for the child’s photograph or biometric verification. The available guidance confirms the current service, not a change introduced in 2025.
What the B-Form is—and which service to choose
NADRA calls the B-Form a Child Registration Certificate (CRC). It is a child’s initial registration in NADRA’s database and records identity and the relationship to a parent or legal guardian. NADRA describes the CRC and Juvenile Card as identity documents for children under 18; they are separate documents, and the available guidance does not establish that one can always replace the other for a school, passport, or other institution. Apply through the PakID app
- Install PakID and sign in or create an account. NADRA’s app account guide covers account creation. NADRA: Account Creation on Pak ID Mobile App
- Select the CRC service. Start a fresh Child Registration Certificate application rather than modification or reprint.
- Enter the requested details. Complete the child and parent or guardian information as prompted.
- Upload the required documents. Provide the applicable birth-registration evidence and any other documents the app requests.
- Attend a Registration Centre if NADRA requires it. The app submission does not guarantee that the whole process can be completed remotely. Follow any centre instructions for the child’s photo or biometrics.
- Track the application in PakID. Use the app to check its status and respond to any further instructions.

Does the child need to visit a NADRA centre?
Possibly. NADRA says a child above age three must be present for CRC processing. A child up to age three is specified as needing to be present when the CRC is processed for passport issuance. Its capture requirements are:
