The recipient then opens the page and picks an available slot. Google announced the Gmail integration on July 15, 2025; it is different from offering a few specific times in Gmail or using Gemini’s later Help me schedule feature.
How to insert a booking page into a Gmail message

On a computer, open Gmail and compose a message or reply.

At the bottom of the draft, click the Calendar icon.

Select an existing appointment booking page, or choose the option to create one.

Check that the booking page has been inserted into the draft, then send the email.
The recipient follows the link to view your bookable availability and select a time. Google said administrators do not need to enable a separate admin control for this Gmail insertion feature. The announcement’s full-rollout start dates were July 15, 2025 for Rapid Release domains and July 28, 2025 for Scheduled Release domains, with one to three days for feature visibility. What an appointment booking page does
Google describes appointment schedules as a way to manage availability and let people book directly in Calendar. A booking adds an event to your calendar, and the page does not offer times when you are unavailable. Google Calendar Help: Learn about appointment schedules.
Set up a schedule and availability
Schedule settings can include appointment duration, regular and adjusted availability, minimum notice, how far ahead people can book, buffer time, and a per-day booking limit. You can also configure calendar conflict checks, co-hosts, meeting location or conferencing, a description, and a booking form. Email verification is optional. Payment requests are available after connecting Stripe. Availability checks for co-hosts must be configured; Google says co-host calendars are not checked by default. Google Calendar Help.

For eligible Workspace accounts, Calendar-generated booking pages use weekday availability and omit times when you are busy. Review the schedule and its conflict-check settings before sharing it, especially if you have co-hosts. Google Calendar Help.
Requirements and paid options
Google says appointment schedules are available to personal Google Account users, Workspace customers, and Workspace Individual subscribers at no additional charge. Some features require an eligible Workspace or Google One subscription; paid options can include a professional booking page, reminders, and paid appointments. Google’s general statement about appointment schedules does not mean every feature is free. Creating a schedule requires a computer and supported browser; Google says schedule creation is not available in the Calendar app for Android or iPhone and iPad. When the specific-times option is a better fit
Use Gmail’s “Offer times to meet” flow when you want to propose a short list rather than share an ongoing booking page. The recipient selects a slot, after which Gmail creates the meeting on your primary calendar and emails a confirmation. The 30-day booking window applies to those proposed slots. Gmail shows the times in your timezone in the original message and in the recipient’s timezone in their Gmail. If the message has multiple recipients, only the first person to book can join; add other participants separately. Google Calendar Help: Offer times to meet in a Gmail message.

Google announced Gemini’s Help me schedule separately on October 14, 2025. It uses Calendar availability and email context to suggest meeting options; the sender can edit the suggestions, and selecting a time creates a Calendar invitation on both people’s calendars. Google said the feature supported scheduling between two individuals, not groups, at launch. Its announcement named specific Workspace and Google AI plans, but plan names and availability can change, so check current eligibility before relying on it. Google Workspace Updates.
