The realme P4 Pro is the much newer, stronger option on the listed specifications: it has a faster-generation chipset, a larger 144Hz AMOLED display, a higher-capacity battery with faster charging, and a higher-resolution selfie camera. The realme 8i may still make sense if you already own one or find it at a worthwhile price, but current prices and availability need to be checked before comparing their cost.

Source: 91mobiles realme 8i vs realme P4 Pro comparison, accessed in 2026. The P4 Pro’s listed processor, display, battery and charging are also shown on 91mobiles’ P4 Pro specification page. Manufacturer reference pages are available for the realme 8i and realme P4 Pro; the detailed figures here are attributed to 91mobiles because readable specification text from the manufacturer pages was not available for this comparison.
Performance: a newer chipset in the P4 Pro
The comparison lists a MediaTek Helio G96 in the 8i and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in the P4 Pro. This is a generational gap as well as a change in processor family, so the P4 Pro is the more capable choice on paper for demanding apps and games. These component names do not guarantee a particular frame rate or everyday speed; actual results also depend on software, thermals, and the specific workload.

Display: AMOLED, larger size and higher refresh rate
The 8i is listed with a 6.6-inch 120Hz IPS LCD, while the P4 Pro has a 6.8-inch 144Hz AMOLED. The P4 Pro therefore offers the more advanced listed panel type, a larger screen and a higher maximum refresh rate. Those specifications can matter for viewing and scrolling, though refresh rate alone does not establish how every app behaves or how long the phone lasts between charges.
Cameras: different secondary and selfie-camera priorities
Both phones are listed with a 50MP main rear camera, but their other cameras differ. The 8i adds 2MP macro and 2MP depth units; the P4 Pro adds an 8MP ultrawide. For group or landscape shots, an ultrawide gives a different framing option than macro and depth cameras. The P4 Pro is also listed with a 50MP front camera versus 16MP on the 8i. Megapixel counts and camera configuration do not by themselves prove which phone takes better photos; the available specifications do not establish comparative image quality.

Battery and charging: higher listed capacity and wattage on the P4 Pro
The 8i is listed with a 5,000mAh battery and 18W charging. The P4 Pro is listed with a 7,000mAh battery and 80W charging. These are capacity and charging-rate specifications, not a guaranteed screen-on time or recharge duration; actual battery life and charging depend on use and conditions.
Storage and software: account for age and variant
The comparison lists a 64GB UFS 2.1 configuration for the 8i and a 128GB UFS 3.1 configuration for the P4 Pro. That gives the P4 Pro more listed capacity and a newer storage standard, but buyers should verify the exact variant available to them. It also lists Android 11 for the 8i and Android 15 for the P4 Pro. These versions show the software-generation gap; they do not establish how long either model will continue receiving security or operating-system updates. Check current support information with realme before buying based on update longevity.

Price difference and availability in India
There is no dependable fixed price difference to quote from the available comparison snapshots. One captured 91mobiles page showed the 8i as unavailable and the P4 Pro at around ₹28,705; another indexed snapshot showed different prices and stock. These are time-sensitive snapshots, not guaranteed current offers or a stable like-for-like price comparison.
Before deciding, compare live listings for the same storage variant and check seller, stock, warranty, and delivery location. The 8i’s availability may vary, and its age makes current condition and seller terms especially relevant if it appears as old stock or through a marketplace. Use the P4 Pro’s current India listing as a starting point, then confirm the final price at the retailer.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the realme P4 Pro if

- You value the listed 7,000mAh battery and 80W charging ratings.
- You want an ultrawide rear camera option, a higher-resolution listed selfie camera, or more listed storage.
- Its live price, stock and exact variant fit your budget.
Keep or consider the realme 8i if
