The OnePlus Nord 6 has the larger, faster display and higher stated battery capacity; the OPPO Reno15 is smaller and offers three clearly published India memory-and-storage options. Which costs more depends on whether you compare launch pricing or a changeable marketplace snapshot: those figures are not like-for-like. Specifications alone do not establish which phone takes better photos or lasts longer in everyday use.

Display, battery and Reno15 configuration figures are from OPPO India and the OnePlus India Nord 6 page. Reno15 launch prices come from OPPO India’s launch announcement. The Nord 6 chipset and storage details, and some camera comparison details, are reported by 91mobiles; treat those as secondary-source data where they are not specified on the cited OnePlus page.
Which phone is cheaper, and what is the price difference?
On announced India launch pricing, OPPO set the Reno15 at ₹45,999 for 8GB/256GB, ₹48,999 for 12GB/256GB and ₹53,999 for 12GB/512GB. OPPO said sales would begin on January 13, 2026. OnePlus described the Nord 6 as launching in India on April 7, 2026 in the ₹35,000–₹40,000 segment. That segment is a range, not an exact variant price, so it does not support a precise launch-price difference against any Reno15 configuration.
A 91mobiles comparison snapshot displayed ₹47,999 for Reno15 and ₹46,999 for Nord 6 when checked on October 5, 2026. On that particular snapshot the Nord 6 was ₹1,000 less, but these are mutable marketplace figures, not official launch prices or guaranteed current offers. The page does not establish a like-for-like storage configuration for this price comparison. Check the exact variant, seller, stock and price at checkout.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.57 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 1080 x 2372 pixels
- 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM, microSDXC
- Android 16, ColorOS 16, Qualcomm SM6450 Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (4 nm), Octa-core (4x2.2 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A55)
- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, 26mm (wide), 1/1.95", 0.8µm, PDAF, OIS, 8 MP, f/2.2, 16mm, 112˚ (ultrawide), 1/4.0", 1.12µm, 2 MP (macro), Front: 50 MP, f/2.0, 100˚, 18mm (ultrawide), AF
Display: bigger and faster Nord 6, more compact Reno15
The Nord 6’s listed 6.78-inch, 165Hz panel is larger and has a higher maximum refresh rate than the Reno15’s 6.59-inch, 120Hz display. Both are high-resolution panels, with the Nord 6 listed at 2772 × 1272 and the Reno15 at 2760 × 1256. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion look smoother, but does not by itself prove better color, brightness, outdoor visibility or overall screen quality. Choose the Nord if screen size and refresh-rate specification are priorities; the Reno15 is the less large option on paper.
Performance and storage: what the published specs establish
OPPO specifies a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and UFS 3.1 storage for Reno15. 91mobiles lists Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and UFS 4.1 for Nord 6, which suggests a higher performance-oriented positioning in that comparison. Because those Nord chipset and storage details are secondary-source data here, verify them against the exact regional configuration you are considering. These component names alone are not a matched performance test: they do not establish game frame rates, sustained performance, heat or everyday speed for the two phones.

- 6.57 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 1080 x 2372 pixels
- 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM, microSDXC
- Android 16, ColorOS 16, Qualcomm SM6450 Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (4 nm), Octa-core (4x2.2 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A55)
- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, 26mm (wide), 1/1.95", 0.8µm, PDAF, OIS, 8 MP, f/2.2, 16mm, 112˚ (ultrawide), 1/4.0", 1.12µm, 2 MP (macro), Front: 50 MP, f/2.0, 100˚, 18mm (ultrawide), AF
The Nord 6 is the more plausible specification-led choice for someone prioritizing gaming hardware, but no independent head-to-head test is established here. OPPO lists Reno15 in 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB configurations and says memory cards are unsupported, so consider storage needs before choosing a variant.
Battery and charging: capacity is not a runtime result
OnePlus advertises a 9000mAh battery and 80W charging for Nord 6. OPPO lists Reno15 at 6500mAh typical capacity (6335mAh rated) and support for up to 80W SUPERVOOC. The larger stated capacity gives Nord 6 the lead on this specification, but capacity alone cannot determine which phone lasts longer: real endurance also depends on software, network conditions, screen settings and use.

OnePlus advertises up to 26.9 hours of YouTube playback and “2.5+ days” of power, attributing these figures to OnePlus Test Lab. The company’s notes describe test conditions, including 25°C ± 1°C for some tests, and caution that actual results vary with network, apps, settings and habits. These are manufacturer test claims, not independently reproduced results or a direct Reno15-versus-Nord 6 battery test. Both manufacturers’ 80W figures describe charging support; they do not establish equal charging time or protocol compatibility.
Cameras: compare the hardware, not just megapixels
OPPO’s launch announcement specifies a 50MP main camera with OIS on Reno15. OnePlus lists a 50MP Sony main camera with dual-axis OIS, an 8MP ultrawide and a 32MP front camera for Nord 6. 91mobiles lists Reno15’s front camera at 50MP; consult the official Reno15 specification page for its detailed camera and video modes.

Both main cameras have OIS, but megapixel counts and stabilization labels do not establish which produces better photos or video. The available product specifications do not provide a matched independent comparison across daylight, low light, motion, ultrawide shots or recording. If camera output is the deciding factor, seek sample images or a direct test of the exact models rather than treating resolution as a quality score.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which one should you choose?
- Consider the OnePlus Nord 6 if you prioritize a larger, higher-refresh-rate screen or the higher stated battery capacity, and its verified regional configuration and price suit you.
- Consider the OPPO Reno15 if you prefer a less large phone or want a choice among its officially listed 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB India variants.
- For gaming or demanding workloads, treat the Nord 6’s reported chipset and storage as a reason to investigate further, not proof of real-world superiority; check the exact model and independent testing.
- For camera or battery life, do not choose on megapixels or capacity alone. The available figures are hardware specifications and company claims, not a matched independent result.
- For price, compare the same storage tier where available and distinguish official launch price from the seller’s current listing.
India variant and purchase checks
OPPO identifies the India Reno15 as model CPH2825. Its official specifications list three memory/storage configurations and state that memory cards are unsupported. OPPO lists a charger and protective case in the box but notes that included accessories may vary by market. Confirm the model number, storage, seller, box contents and final price on the listing before ordering. Product specifications, software details, stock and offers can change.
