If Just Dance songs are missing, first check which edition you are playing and whether the track belongs to the base game or the Just Dance+ catalogue. For the documented Just Dance 2023 and 2024 shared installation, Ubisoft’s first fix for missing 2024 songs is to let the content download finish, quit the game, and restart it. A two-song limit, an offline session, or a track removed from a subscription catalogue may instead reflect your access or the song’s availability—not a faulty library.
Start by identifying the kind of missing song
Before reinstalling the game, establish what you expected to see. Check the game year shown on the title screen, your platform, whether you own or redeemed the edition, and whether the song was included with that game or accessed through a subscription. Also check whether a download or update is still in progress and whether you are online.
- Base-game song: Included with a specific edition. A download that has not finished or an edition you do not own can explain why it is unavailable.
- Just Dance+ song: Part of an online subscription catalogue. Its availability can change as music licenses change.
- Just Dance Unlimited song: This is a separate, legacy service; it is not compatible with Just Dance 2023 or 2024.
- Only two songs available: This can indicate demo or limited free access rather than a missing library.
Ubisoft’s detailed missing-library instructions are for Just Dance 2024, including use alongside Just Dance 2023. They should not be assumed to describe every Just Dance edition or platform. See Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2024 FAQ.
Fix new Just Dance 2024 songs missing after redemption
If you have Just Dance 2023 and redeemed Just Dance 2024 Edition but cannot find its new songs, Ubisoft says the game may have been launched before the 2024 content finished downloading.

If Just Dance gives you only two songs
In its Just Dance 2024 FAQ, Ubisoft says access to only two songs probably means you are playing the demo. If you bought the edition and still see only two, use the FAQ’s help route rather than assuming the game has lost its library. Confirm that you are signed into the account that owns or redeemed the game.
Limited access also exists in the separate 2026 free experience. Ubisoft’s version 26.0.0 notes say free users receive tokens for songs from the latest edition; after the tokens run out, two songs remain playable without limit. So the same two-song symptom can have different explanations depending on the game version and access mode. Read Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2026 version 26.0.0 notes.

Check internet and offline-play limits
For Just Dance 2024, Ubisoft says Nintendo Switch players need an internet connection to access all songs in their game. The FAQ says players can download up to 40 base-game songs for offline play; some map versions may be unavailable because of limited download space. That offline allowance applies to base-game songs, not subscription tracks.
Just Dance+ maps cannot be downloaded and require an internet connection. Ubisoft also says PS5 and Xbox Series X|S require internet for setup and use of the dedicated controller app. If a song disappears only when you are offline, reconnect and check whether it is a Just Dance+ track or a base-game map that has not been downloaded.

Just Dance+ availability can change
A song listed in Just Dance+ is not necessarily a permanent part of the service. Ubisoft’s January 27, 2026 article explains that music licensing agreements evolve and affect which songs can be kept, renewed, or added. Ubisoft said most original 2023 and 2024 tracklists were planned to join Just Dance+ in batches, with a limited number excluded for licensing reasons. That announcement does not establish the live availability of every song now.
Search for the specific song in the current in-game catalogue and check its original edition. If a track is absent from Just Dance+, restarting or reinstalling cannot be promised to restore it when licensing is the reason. This does not, by itself, show that the same track has disappeared from a purchased base game. Read Ubisoft’s Just Dance+ catalogue announcement.

Just Dance Unlimited is not the same service
Ubisoft says Just Dance Unlimited is not compatible with Just Dance 2023 or 2024; Just Dance+ is a separate service. Ubisoft Help’s indexed article on Unlimited said approximately 200 songs were scheduled for removal on August 1, 2024, citing licensing constraints. That was a dated service change, not a current method for restoring removed tracks. If a missing song was available through Unlimited, verify which service and edition you used to access it.

The documented 2023/2024 recovery step is to finish the 2024 content download, then quit and restart the game. For other cases, match the symptom to its likely cause before taking more disruptive steps:
- New 2024 songs missing after redemption: Wait for the content download to finish, then fully quit and relaunch.
- Only two songs appear: Check whether you are in the 2024 demo or the 2026 free experience, and verify the account and edition.
- A song is missing only offline: Reconnect; Just Dance+ requires internet, and offline base-game downloads have limits.
- One Just Dance+ song is missing: Search the live catalogue and check licensing-related availability.
- A song from Unlimited is gone: Confirm that it was an Unlimited track and account for the announced 2024 removals.
The official instructions do not establish one universal repair procedure for every edition and platform. If these checks do not resolve a missing base-game song, contact Ubisoft support with the game edition, platform, song title, and download or error status.
