Short answer: Google’s documented Hotel Prices APIs and feeds are for participating partners to send and manage hotel pricing data—not a general public API for retrieving arbitrary Google Hotels prices. If you run a hotel, booking platform, or connectivity service, you can send rates through Hotel Center or use an integration partner. If you only want to query prices for comparison or display, the reviewed Google documentation does not provide a public search endpoint for that purpose.
Does Google Hotels have a public API for retrieving prices?
Google’s Hotel Prices documentation describes partner workflows for providing hotel pricing data to Google Search. It covers setup, hotel lists, availability and rates, pricing transactions, queries, landing pages, and bidding; it does not document an unrestricted endpoint for an outside developer to search arbitrary Google Hotels prices. The distinction is important: these interfaces are for participating businesses’ own or managed Hotel Center data. The Travel Partner API manages Hotel Center accounts and related reporting; it is not a consumer hotel-search API. The documented scope does not establish that no private or licensed hotel-data products exist. If you need to display or compare prices, investigate a licensed inventory provider or an integration partner, and verify its access, geographic coverage, permitted data use, and commercial terms.
How can a hotel or platform send prices to Google?
Start with Google’s Hotel Prices developer overview. For a direct integration, set up Hotel Center and provide the property and pricing data through a supported feed. The two main approaches differ in how pricing updates are delivered.

Use ARI for incremental, push-based updates
ARI means Availability, Rates, and Inventory. A partner sends property, room, and rate-plan information, followed by updates to rates, availability, and inventory. Google describes ARI as a push model: send changes when prices or availability change. Its documented support includes nightly rates, restrictions, inventory, taxes, fees, and promotions. Google says pricing is unavailable until it has received all four required message types: Transaction, Rate, Inventory, and Availability. Plan the integration around complete, current data and verify feed status and price accuracy in Hotel Center before relying on it operationally.

Choose a delivery model that fits your pricing system
ARI sends granular nightly data and incremental changes, which Google can combine into different itineraries. Google says this can improve bandwidth efficiency, price accuracy, and itinerary coverage; those are Google’s stated benefits, not independent performance measurements. Google also documents itinerary-based delivery. Choose based on how your system stores rates, how quickly it can push changes, the itinerary coverage you need, and whether it can represent taxes, fees, restrictions, and promotions accurately.
What does the Travel Partner API do?
The Travel Partner API is a REST interface at https://travelpartner.googleapis.com for managing Hotel Center data. Google characterizes it as useful for large or complex accounts and recommends its client libraries. Its documented services include account links, hotel views, participation reports, price-accuracy and price-coverage views, price views, property performance reports, and reconciliation reports. Use it for partner-account operations and reporting—not to search all hotels shown on Google. Access is meaningful in the context of a Hotel Center account and the data that account manages.
Should you integrate directly or use a connectivity partner?
A direct Hotel Center integration gives a hotel or platform control over its feed implementation, but it also requires engineering and ongoing feed operations. A connectivity partner can help with setup and feed management. Google recommends working with a third-party integrator for Hotel Ads implementations in its Hotel prices guidance, and its Hotel Prices overview links to a connectivity-partner directory.

- Consider a direct integration if your team can build and operate the feed, diagnose pricing issues, and maintain accurate property and rate data.
- Consider a connectivity partner if you need help connecting your system to Hotel Center or supporting ongoing feed operations.
- Compare providers on fit: confirm supported properties and markets, technical scope, diagnostics, support, cost, and contractual permissions for your data. Google’s directory does not establish any provider’s specific price, service level, or referral arrangement.
What changed for Hotel Ads in 2026?
Google Hotel Center Help says the third-party rates feature for Hotel Ads and Performance Max for Travel Goals became unavailable after September 30, 2026. Affected Hotel Ads campaigns stop serving across Hotel Ads inventory, including the Booking Module and Travel Promotion Ads. To continue showing Hotel Ads, advertisers must establish a direct price feed through Hotel Center or an integration partner, link that feed to Google Ads, and recreate their campaigns. Google says Performance Max for Travel Goals campaigns can continue serving on other channels, including Search, Display, and YouTube. See Google’s 2026 third-party rates guidance.
Google also says advertisers using Performance Max without a Hotel Center account may show Google-sourced third-party rates that the advertiser cannot change. Google may filter feeds with low price-accuracy scores, and coverage is not guaranteed. That is guidance about ad serving; it does not create a general API for retrieving those rates.

Practical next steps
- If you need prices for your own hotel or inventory: determine whether you are eligible to participate and set up the relevant Hotel Center account and property data.
- Select a feed route: assess ARI or itinerary-based delivery against your rate system, update cadence, coverage needs, and ability to send complete pricing details.
- Implement and validate: send the required data, including all four ARI message types if using ARI, then check feed status and price accuracy in Hotel Center.
- If you need account reporting or management: evaluate the Travel Partner API for the Hotel Center resources your account needs.
- If your goal is a general price-search feature: seek a licensed inventory source or suitable integration provider and check its rights and coverage rather than treating Google’s partner APIs as a public search endpoint.
