For the 4GB/128GB models in India, the cited listings show the OPPO K14x at ₹17,999 on Flipkart and the realme 16x 5G at ₹28,999—a difference of ₹11,000. These are dated marketplace prices, not guaranteed prices or fixed MRPs. The realme advertises a larger battery and faster-refresh display; both phones list the same Dimensity 6300 chipset and a 50MP rear camera.
Price difference in India
The following figures are dated retailer observations, so seller, stock and offers may change. 91mobiles’ listing dated 5 October 2026 shows two OPPO prices; Gadgets 360’s listing dated 4 October 2026 supplies the realme price.
| Phone and configuration | Observed price | Listing detail |
|---|---|---|
| OPPO K14x 5G, 4GB/128GB | ₹17,999 | Flipkart, per 91mobiles listing dated 5 October 2026 |
| OPPO K14x 5G, 4GB/128GB | ₹19,100 | Amazon, per 91mobiles listing dated 5 October 2026 |
| realme 16x 5G, 4GB/128GB | ₹28,999 | Gadgets 360 listing dated 4 October 2026 |
| OPPO K14x 5G, 6GB/128GB | ₹19,999 on Flipkart; ₹22,350 on Amazon | 91mobiles listing dated 5 October 2026 |
| realme 16x 5G, 6GB/128GB | ₹30,999 | Gadgets 360 listing dated 4 October 2026 |
Comparing the lower cited 4GB/128GB prices gives the ₹11,000 gap. OPPO’s launch-era prices were ₹14,999 for 4GB/128GB and ₹16,999 for 6GB/128GB; those are launch prices, not current street prices. Check the exact variant, seller and checkout total before buying.

The display brightness and refresh figures are manufacturer specifications, not side-by-side measurements. A 144Hz ceiling can allow more frequent screen updates than 120Hz, but the specification alone does not show how consistently either phone sustains that rate in games or everyday use.

Which phone has the better battery?
On stated capacity, realme leads with 7000mAh versus OPPO’s 6500mAh typical capacity (6335mAh rated). Both list charging up to 45W, although realme’s page phrases this as “up to.” Capacity and charging ratings do not by themselves establish which phone lasts longer in ordinary use.
The brands’ online-video figures are not a matched comparison. OPPO’s 2 February 2026 launch release claims up to 17.6 hours of YouTube playback, while its current product page gives up to 22.4 hours of online-video playback. realme claims up to 20.4 hours of online video and up to 12.34 hours of gaming. These are vendor lab figures with distinct contexts and methods; OPPO’s two video figures also differ. They should not be treated as results from one head-to-head test.

Performance and cameras
Both specification sheets name MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 and a 50MP rear camera. That establishes similarity in the listed chipset and camera resolution, not equal performance or image quality. Memory configuration, thermal design and software can affect how a phone performs, while megapixels alone do not determine photos. The available information does not establish matched independent gaming, speed or camera results.

Software versions
The listed software differs: OPPO is identified with ColorOS 15 and Android 15 by 91mobiles, while realme describes realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. These version listings are not a software-support commitment. Confirm the installed version and update policy for the specific India variant if long-term updates matter to you.

OPPO’s conflicting IP rating
OPPO’s own published materials disagree: its February 2026 launch release says IP64, but a footnote on its product page says IP54. The realme page identifies IP65. Because the OPPO rating is unresolved in those official sources, check the India unit’s retail packaging or obtain confirmation from OPPO rather than relying on a single definitive K14x rating.

Which should you choose?
- Choose the OPPO K14x if upfront cost matters most. The cited 4GB/128GB Flipkart listing is lower, and OPPO still specifies a 6500mAh typical battery and 120Hz display. Compare available sellers because its cited Amazon price is higher.
- Consider the realme 16x if its listed hardware advantages are worth the premium to you. It advertises a 7000mAh battery and up to 144Hz display, but those numbers do not prove longer real-world battery life or better sustained gaming.
- Do not pick based on camera resolution alone. Both list 50MP rear cameras; look for matched photo samples if camera performance is decisive.
- Check the exact variant and regional details before paying. Confirm RAM/storage, live price, software version and the OPPO IP rating for the unit you are buying.
