No. Pocket for Android was a read-it-later app, not a secure password vault, and Pocket has since shut down. Its own Terms of Service said saved content and communications were not private or secure. Do not use Pocket to store passwords, recovery codes, financial details, or other secrets.
Why Pocket was not a password manager
Pocket was designed to save articles and other material to read later. Its Terms of Service warned that content and communications saved or shared through Pocket were “not private or secure” and could be read by Pocket operators or other Mozilla agents. Pocket’s Terms of Service therefore do not support treating the service as a confidential vault.
A historical Android release announcement can explain one source of confusion: Pocket’s 2011 Android 1.1 update listed the “Ability to edit account (username, password, and email) within the app.” That meant users could manage the credentials for their Pocket account; it did not describe a feature for storing passwords to other sites. Pocket is no longer available
Pocket’s shutdown notice says the service’s website, Android, iOS, and macOS apps, and browser extensions were phased out. It set October 8, 2025 as the last day to export saved items and said user data would be permanently deleted after that date. That deadline has passed. Pocket’s shutdown notice

What to do if you need to store secrets
Do not put passwords or sensitive records in Pocket, and do not treat old Pocket account settings as a password-storage feature. For a current need, choose an available, dedicated password manager and assess its security and recovery options using current information from the provider. Pocket’s history and terms do not establish that it offered secure password storage.
