Whether you receive it depends on the specific offer’s qualifying products or spend, country, shopping channel, dates, household limit, exclusions, and available stock.
How LEGO gift-with-purchase promotions work
LEGO publishes separate terms for each gift. An offer may require a minimum spend on LEGO merchandise, limit eligible spending to named themes, or require a particular set. The terms can also specify where to shop, set a per-household cap, exclude certain products or order types, and state what happens if you return the qualifying purchase.
LEGO’s U.S. offers page says gifts are available without a discount code. That does not make every order eligible: the offer’s own terms still determine whether a gift applies. Some offers may be connected to LEGO Insiders membership, but treat membership as a requirement only when that specific offer says so.
What purchase qualifies for a LEGO GWP?
Check whether the threshold applies to all LEGO merchandise, selected themes, or one named set. For example, the U.S. Astro Bot (40899) promotion requires at least $150 in LEGO merchandise. A separate September offer for Alex’s Campfire Conflict required at least $40 spent on Minecraft, NINJAGO, Marvel, or City merchandise. These are individual offer conditions, not standard LEGO GWP thresholds.

Read exclusions alongside the threshold. The U.S. Astro Bot terms exclude Pick a Brick (Standard) orders and BrickLink Designer Program sets from the qualifying purchase. The offer also cannot be applied to a purchase made before the promotion.
Does the retailer or shopping channel matter?
Yes. An offer only applies through the channels its terms name. The U.S. Astro Bot offer lists LEGO.com, LEGO Stores, and LEGO catalog telephone orders. It does not list Amazon or other retailers, so do not assume a purchase from an unlisted seller earns the gift.

Also use the LEGO shop and offer terms for the country where you are buying. Offers can differ across markets: for example, the September Scary Haunted Tree (40900) promotion listed a $100 qualifying threshold in the U.S. and £90 in Great Britain. Those amounts belong to their respective offers and markets; one is not a currency-converted universal rule. See the U.S. offer terms or Great Britain offer terms that apply to your order.
Dates, stock, and limits can change whether you get the gift
Check the promotion period and stock status before placing an order. The U.S. Astro Bot offer runs October 1–7, 2026, while stocks last. A stated end date does not guarantee that the gift will remain available until then. LEGO’s terms also say, “The LEGO Group reserves the right to cancel or modify this promotion at any time without prior notice.”

That example limits the gift to one set per household. The cap, dates, exclusions, and stock conditions can differ for another promotion, so check the terms attached to the specific gift rather than relying on an older offer or a general rule.
What happens if you return the qualifying purchase?
Under the current U.S. Astro Bot terms, if the qualifying purchase is refunded, the GWP must be returned with it. The gift cannot be exchanged or substituted for cash or another item. Check the return language for the offer you are using, since terms are promotion-specific.

How to check an offer before ordering
- Open the offer for your country. Use the LEGO shop for the market where you plan to order, then open the terms for the specific gift.
- Match your cart to the eligibility rule. Confirm the minimum spend, eligible themes or required set, and any excluded merchandise or order types.
- Confirm the channel and any membership condition. Make sure the offer names the way you will place the order, and check whether it specifically requires LEGO Insiders membership.
- Check the promotion period and stock. Note the dates and time zone stated in the terms; a gift may run out before the final date.
- Check the cap and return terms. Look for a per-household limit and whether the gift must be returned if the qualifying purchase is refunded.
- Review the order before submitting it. Confirm that the offer is reflected as expected and retain the terms or order details in case you need to check eligibility later.
For example, the U.S. Astro Bot gift has an approximate retail value of $19.99, according to its 2026 promotion terms. That stated value is not a measured saving and does not, by itself, show that a $150 qualifying purchase is worthwhile. Compare the conditions with what you already planned to buy.
