Voicemod Key Pocket lets you use the Voicemod mobile app to change your voice and route the processed audio into a compatible game, call, or stream. The phone does the voice processing; the Pocket acts as the audio bridge. It can work across several listed consoles and mobile setups, but “any platform” is not literal: compatibility depends on your phone, headset, connector, and sometimes an adapter.
How Voicemod Key Pocket works
Voicemod describes the VMKey Pocket as acting as your device’s microphone. You connect it to a phone running the Voicemod app, speak through a connected headset, and the app processes your voice in real time. The Pocket routes that altered audio to the receiving game, call, or stream, and the setup also supports soundboard triggers. These are product details stated by Voicemod, not independent hands-on test results. Voicemod VMKey Pocket product page

The device exists to bridge a gap in mobile and console audio access. In Voicemod’s July 18, 2024 announcement, co-founder and CEO Jaime Bosch said: “Platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, iOS, and Android do not provide system-level access to the devices’ sound input features.” That is the company’s explanation for the hardware, rather than an independently verified assessment of every platform. Check compatibility before buying
The Pocket is part of a phone-and-headset setup, not a standalone voice changer or merely a remote control. Voicemod says it requires iOS 16 or later or Android 10 or later, a USB-C connection, the Voicemod app, a stable internet connection, and a connected headset. The product listing does not support Lightning-only phones. Voicemod lists a wired TRRS headset option; Bluetooth compatibility depends on the setup. Check the current requirements for your exact devices, since the company warns that compatibility and features can change. Voicemod VMKey Pocket product page

What the standalone purchase includes
When accessed in 2026, Voicemod’s shop listed the standalone Founders Edition for $99.90 USD, with shipping marked for late October. It included the device and a 3.5 mm audio-jack cable, plus a one-month PRO trial. The standalone selection did not include an ongoing PRO license. Voicemod’s product FAQ distinguishes it from a separate device-plus-PRO bundle, which includes full PRO access. These are time-sensitive listing details, so check the shop for current price, shipping, and bundle terms before ordering. Voicemod Shop standalone listing Voicemod VMKey Pocket product page
Voicemod reports a library of more than 200 company-created voices and over 76,000 community-made voices. Those are vendor-reported counts, not independent statistics; the available ongoing library access depends on the PRO arrangement you choose. Voicemod VMKey Pocket product page

Voicemod says voice processing happens locally on the smartphone and that voice data is not sent to its servers. This is the company’s privacy claim; the product information cited here does not independently audit it. Voicemod VMKey Pocket product page
Is Voicemod Key Pocket right for your setup?
- It may fit if your phone meets Voicemod’s OS and USB-C requirements, you can connect a compatible headset, and your game or platform appears on the current supported list.
- Check carefully if you plan to use Bluetooth, a controller jack, or a VR headset; the exact connection path matters, and Quest use needs an adapter sold separately.
- Factor in subscription access if you want ongoing full PRO features: the standalone device listing included a trial, not a continuing PRO license.
