The POCO F9 Ultra has the more ambitious listed hardware: a flagship Snapdragon platform, a larger high-refresh-rate display, a three-camera rear system with a stabilized 5× periscope telephoto, a larger battery and wireless charging. The POCO X7 Pro is a performance-focused alternative with a 120Hz AMOLED screen, a Dimensity 8400-Ultra chip, a 50MP stabilized main camera and 90W wired charging. There is no defensible universal price difference without a country, storage tier and matched current prices.

These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements of speed, camera quality, screen smoothness or battery life. See the POCO X7 Pro specifications and POCO F9 Ultra specifications.
Which phone is better for performance?
The F9 Ultra is positioned higher on paper: its specification page lists a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, a 3nm process and a separate VisionBoost D8 graphics chip. The X7 Pro uses the Dimensity 8400-Ultra on a 4nm process. Those details indicate different product tiers, but they do not establish how the phones perform in a particular game or workload.
POCO’s product pages claim AnTuTu scores of 1,704,330 for the X7 Pro (POCO Internal Labs, 2025, AnTuTu v10) and 4,165,108 for the F9 Ultra (POCO, 2026 product-page material, AnTuTu V11). Because the figures use different benchmark versions and are manufacturer claims, they are not a controlled head-to-head comparison. The X7 Pro still lists LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage; the F9 Ultra lists LPDDR5X 9600Mbps and UFS 4.1.

How do their screens compare?
The F9 Ultra has the larger screen and higher advertised maximum refresh rate: 6.9 inches and up to 185Hz, versus 6.67 inches and up to 120Hz on the X7 Pro. The X7 Pro lists a higher pixel resolution, 2712 × 1220 versus 2608 × 1200. Maximum refresh rates do not guarantee that every app or scene will run at that rate; actual behavior depends on the content and settings.
Which has the more flexible camera system?
The F9 Ultra lists three rear cameras, including a stabilized 5× periscope telephoto. That gives it more stated focal-length options than the X7 Pro’s 50MP OIS main camera and 8MP ultra-wide. Its main camera is listed at 200MP, while the X7 Pro’s is 50MP. Megapixel counts alone do not establish which phone takes better photos; the specifications do not substitute for comparable image tests.

For selfies and video, the F9 Ultra lists a 32MP front camera and 4K recording at 30fps. The X7 Pro lists a 20MP front camera and 1080p video at 30fps.
Battery, charging and audio
POCO lists typical battery capacities of 8050mAh for the F9 Ultra and 6000mAh for the X7 Pro. The F9 Ultra also adds 50W wireless charging alongside 100W wired charging; the X7 Pro lists 90W wired HyperCharge. Capacity and charging ratings do not by themselves predict everyday battery life or charge times. POCO’s X7 Pro product page reports a 100% charge in 42 minutes from POCO Internal Labs under its stated test conditions, not as a general real-world guarantee. Its product page includes the manufacturer’s qualification.

For audio, the X7 Pro specifications list dual speakers with Dolby Atmos. POCO’s F9 Ultra global product page promotes Bose-tuned symmetrical stereo speakers with a subwoofer; consult the regional specification page for that market’s complete configuration.
What is the price difference?
There is no reliable global price gap to quote from the available comparable figures. Prices depend on market, retailer, tax, storage configuration, stock and active promotions. The official global X7 Pro launch-event notice does not state a current selling price. A Xiaomi Romania store result listed the F9 Ultra from 4,799 lei, but did not provide a comparable X7 Pro price. That single-country figure cannot establish a like-for-like difference elsewhere. See the Xiaomi Romania POCO store and the X7 series launch event page.

To calculate a useful local difference, compare the same retailer type and tax treatment, choose matching or closest-available storage tiers, and check warranty, stock and promotion dates. Record the prices on the same date; do not treat launch pricing as current pricing.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the F9 Ultra if its listed camera flexibility, larger display and battery, higher maximum refresh rate, wireless charging or larger storage options fit your priorities and local price.
- Choose the X7 Pro if its listed Dimensity platform, 120Hz AMOLED display, 50MP OIS main camera and wired fast charging meet your needs at a better matched local price.
- Before buying either phone, check the exact regional model’s network bands and warranty, and confirm which accessories are in the box.
Check regional specifications and box contents
The X7 Pro global specifications list a phone, adapter, USB-C cable, SIM tool, protective case and documents, but package contents can vary by region. POCO says the F9 Ultra’s wired adapter may vary by country, and its wireless charger is sold separately. Confirm the exact regional SKU and included accessories with the seller before buying; the global specification pages are here for the X7 Pro and here for the F9 Ultra.
