What the NITECORE AP01 is—and what it can inflate
The AP01 is an ultralight portable electric air pump designed for low-pressure inflatables. NITECORE lists air beds, pillows, sleeping pads, swim rings, and life jackets as example uses. It can also deflate compatible items through its deflation port. The AP01 is not intended for high-pressure inflation: NITECORE specifies inflation/deflation pressure of ±2.8 kPa and airflow of 220 L/min. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements, and airflow alone cannot predict how long a particular product will take to inflate. It needs an external USB-C power bank
The AP01 has no built-in battery. You need a suitable external USB-C power source, and the power bank is not included. The bundled cable is USB-C to USB-C, so check that your power source has a compatible port.

NITECORE’s three-hour runtime figure comes from its test using an NB10000 10,000 mAh power bank at 26°C. How long does the AP01 take to inflate an air mattress?
NITECORE Singapore publishes approximate lab examples, measured with an NB10000. The page says cycle counts were measured at 26°C (79°F) and that real-world results vary with power source, cable, and environment. The NB10000 is not included with the AP01. How to use the AP01 safely
- Choose a supplied nozzle that fits the item’s valve, then attach it to the inflation or deflation port as appropriate.
- Connect the nozzle to the item’s valve and connect the AP01 to a USB-C power source.
- Turn on the pump only after it is connected. Do not block or cover either pump port while it operates.

Is the AP01 suitable for tires?
No. The AP01 is designed for low-pressure inflatables, while NITECORE warns against using it for high-pressure inflation. Its ±2.8 kPa pressure rating is not appropriate for tire inflation. Who should consider the AP01?
The AP01 makes sense when minimizing pump weight and packed size matters and your gear uses a compatible low-pressure valve. Its listed 22 g weight applies to the pump body; the five nozzles, cable, and storage bag add to what you carry. It is less suitable if you need a built-in battery, guaranteed compatibility with an unusual valve, or a pump for high-pressure equipment.
