The DJI Mini 4 Pro combines 4K video recording with omnidirectional obstacle sensing in a standard configuration DJI lists at less than 249 g. Whether it is affordable depends on the price and bundle available where you live: DJI’s U.S. store showed the standard RC-N2 configuration at $759 on October 5, 2026, but it was out of stock when checked.
What the DJI Mini 4 Pro offers
DJI’s specifications list 4K recording at 24, 25, 30, 48, 50, 60, and 100 frames per second. The 100 fps option is identified as slow motion. These are manufacturer specifications, not a guarantee of a particular result in every recording situation. DJI Mini 4 Pro specifications
DJI describes the aircraft’s obstacle sensing as an omnidirectional binocular vision system, supplemented by a 3D infrared sensor on the bottom. That feature can help the drone sense obstacles; it does not make flight collision-proof.
When obstacle sensing works—and its limits
DJI says vision sensing depends on discernible surface patterns and adequate lighting—more than 15 lux—in the directions specified on its product specifications page. Conditions that do not meet those requirements can limit sensing, and actual performance can vary. Do not rely on the system as a substitute for choosing a safe route, keeping the drone in view, or following local operating rules.
#1 Best Overall
- No Registration Needed - Under 249 g, this drone with camera for adults 4K does not require FAA registration or Remote ID for recreational use. Visit the FAA's official website for requirements related to drone registration and Remote ID. [1]
- 4K Ultra HD & 3-Axis Gimbal for Cinematic Quality Shooting - Capture stunning moments in any light—sunrises, sunsets, and night scenes with crystal-clear 4K resolution. Thanks to the 3-axis gimbal, you can achieve cinematic-quality footage with this advanced drone with camera.
- 38kph (Level 5) Wind Resistant - This drone for adults has a stable flight even in Level 5 winds. Brushless motors enhance power and allow takeoff at altitudes up to 4,000 meters.
- 10km Max HD Video Transmission-up to 10 km (32,800 feet) [2] of HD video transmission and has excellent anti-interference capabilities, giving you the ability to freely explore vast landscapes and see clearer.
- Due to platform compatibility issue, the DJI Fly app has been removed from Google Play. To ensure a better product usage experience, please log in to the DJI official website to download the latest version of DJI Fly.
Weight, batteries, and flight time
DJI lists the standard takeoff weight as less than 249 g, while noting that actual weight can vary. That figure applies to the standard configuration; adding the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus takes the aircraft above 249 g. DJI directs users to check and follow the laws in their country or region, so the standard weight should not be treated as a blanket exemption from legal obligations. DJI Mini 4 Pro specifications
DJI’s maximum flight-time figures depend on the battery and test conditions:

When comparing offers, check what is included—especially the controller, batteries, and storage—rather than comparing headline prices alone. Also compare the battery configuration, since it affects both weight and DJI’s stated maximum flight time. DJI’s specifications refer to microSD storage and exFAT support, but do not establish a suitable card’s speed class or capacity; consult the current manual before choosing one.
Quick Recap
What to verify before buying
- Confirm the current price, stock status, region, and exact bundle.
- Check the takeoff weight for the battery configuration you intend to use, then consult the rules that apply where you fly.
- Consider whether the obstacle-sensing system’s stated lighting and surface-pattern requirements fit the places you plan to fly.
- Choose storage only after verifying card requirements in the current manual.
