To unlock the Terrorbird mount in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, complete The Wild Hunt in Fellhollow: speak to Vannaka in Bleakfields Valley, collect three Primordial Hearts from Nature Spirits, and bring them back to him. The guides reviewed for this walkthrough report Nature Spirits in Witchwillow Range, Emberwood, and Dragon’s Run.
Before you start: reach Fellhollow
Fellhollow is not available immediately. AllThingsHow reports that you must partially complete Withering Heights before entering the region. Once there, head to Bleakfields Valley to find the quest giver.
Start The Wild Hunt with Vannaka
Speak to Vannaka in Bleakfields Valley to begin The Wild Hunt. VGC places him west of the spot where you meet Cathan. Talk to him before setting out: the quest asks you to bring back three Primordial Hearts from Nature Spirits.
Find and defeat three Nature Spirits
The reviewed guides report these Nature Spirit locations in Fellhollow:

- Witchwillow Range
- Emberwood
- Dragon’s Run
AllThingsHow names those three areas, while VGC describes the spirits more broadly as appearing across western Fellhollow, especially near the Mirror Mirror quest. Treat the named areas as reported places to look, not a complete list of every possible spawn. Defeat the spirits and collect their Primordial Hearts; you need three for the hand-in.
Return the hearts to unlock the mount
Go back to Vannaka in Bleakfields Valley and turn in all three Primordial Hearts. The guides identify the reward as the ability to summon a Terrorbird. They describe it as a quest unlock, not a mount you need to craft or tame. AllThingsHow reports that a summon prompt appears after the quest is complete.

- Grab your capes and party hats, because we’re going to Gielinor!
- Inspired by the record-breaking online universe that’s captured the imagination of millions worldwide, RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg is the official cooperative board game for 1-5 players.
Know the Terrorbird’s limits before riding
VGC reports three restrictions that affect how useful the mount is on a trip:
- You cannot fight or gather while mounted.
- You cannot ride the Terrorbird in dungeons.
- Taking damage dismounts you. VGC specifically notes that crossing Fellhollow’s soul-sapping mire counts as damage, so the mire can knock you off.
Plan to use the mount for open-world travel rather than combat, gathering, or dungeon runs. Because controls can vary by platform or change between builds, check the current in-game prompt for the summon input. VGC lists holding Y for Xbox controllers; that button should not be assumed to apply to other platforms.
