Which OPPO A6 is being compared?
“OPPO A6” can refer to two different Spain-listed phones. The OPPO A6 (CPH2817) is a 4G model with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685. The OPPO A6 5G (CPH2831) supports 5G and uses a MediaTek Dimensity 6300. Their listed display, battery and camera specifications are similar, but their processors and cellular connectivity are not. Check the model code and local version before comparing prices or network compatibility.

Which phone has the better display?
On listed specifications, the Galaxy A27 5G has the more capable display: its 6.7-inch panel is FHD+ Super AMOLED, while the Spain-listed A6 and A6 5G use a slightly larger 6.75-inch HD+ LCD. Both brands list refresh rates up to 120 Hz, so the refresh-rate figure alone does not distinguish them. The published specifications do not establish measured brightness, outdoor visibility or a direct image-quality result.
Which phone has the longer battery life?
The OPPO A6 models have the higher stated typical capacity in Spain: 6,550 mAh versus 5,000 mAh for the Galaxy A27 5G. That makes OPPO the capacity leader on paper, but capacity alone cannot establish which phone lasts longer in a particular person’s use. No comparable controlled runtime result is available here.

OPPO lists support for up to 45 W SUPERVOOC charging, compared with Samsung’s listed 25 W charging. These are maximum supported charging specifications, not measured charge times; actual charging can depend on the compatible charger and conditions.
Which phone has the better camera?
The Galaxy A27 5G offers a broader listed rear-camera selection: a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 5 MP ultra-wide camera and a 2 MP macro camera. OPPO lists a 50 MP autofocus main camera and a 2 MP monochrome camera. Samsung also lists a 12 MP front camera, compared with OPPO’s 8 MP front camera.

Those specifications suggest more shooting options on the Samsung, including an ultra-wide view and stabilization on the main camera. They do not prove that it takes better photos or selfies: megapixels, camera count and feature lists are not substitutes for comparable image tests.
Which phone is faster?
The answer depends on which A6 you mean. Samsung lists a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3; the 4G OPPO A6 uses a Snapdragon 685, while the A6 5G uses a Dimensity 6300. The chipset names identify the hardware, but there is no comparable benchmark or sustained-use test here to establish which phone is faster in everyday tasks, gaming or extended workloads.

For connectivity, the A6 5G is the OPPO model in this comparison that lists 5G support; the CPH2817 A6 is a 4G phone. Verify local network bands and the exact handset variant before buying, since market-specific configurations can differ.

Samsung announced up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates, counted from the initial global launch date. This is a maximum support commitment, not a guarantee that every update arrives immediately or that every region follows an identical rollout schedule. Samsung describes the promise in its June 25, 2026 announcement.

The consulted OPPO Spain specification pages list ColorOS 15 but do not state an equivalent support duration. That omission does not establish that OPPO offers no software support; it means these specification pages do not provide a duration to compare.
Water resistance and regional details
Samsung lists IP64 for the Galaxy A27 5G. OPPO’s Spain pages display IP68 and explain that the product met IP69 water-ingress testing, while the regulatory display is capped at IP68 under EU labelling rules. These are manufacturer statements about ratings and testing, not assurances that either phone is indestructible or that liquid damage is covered by warranty.
Memory options, cellular bands, availability and other specifications depend on market. Samsung’s announcement lists 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB configurations with microSD expansion up to 2 TB; the consulted Spain OPPO pages list 6/256 GB and microSD expansion for both A6 variants. Confirm the local model and configuration before purchase. No matched current prices or stock levels are established here.
