The Jabees 7Seven is an open-ear bone-conduction headset designed for swimming, with Bluetooth streaming and built-in MP3 playback. Jabees says its IP68-rated headset can be submerged in freshwater up to 1.5 metres for up to 40 minutes, but it is not suitable for saltwater or diving. The water limits are the manufacturer’s claims, not an independent test result.
What the Jabees 7Seven is—and how its audio works
The 7Seven uses bone conduction and leaves the ear canals open, according to Jabees. That design is intended to let ambient sound reach the ears while audio plays. It can help keep a listener less isolated from their surroundings, but it does not guarantee that they will hear every hazard—especially in a pool or other noisy environment.
Jabees lists Bluetooth 6.0, multipoint connection, a microphone, USB-C charging, and support for MP3, WAV, WMA, APE, FLAC, AAC, and M4A files. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured findings.
What its waterproof claim permits
Jabees lists an IP68 rating under IEC 60529 and describes the 7Seven as tested under controlled conditions for freshwater submersion up to 1.5 metres for up to 40 minutes. Those figures define the manufacturer’s stated limit; an IP rating by itself should not be read as permission to use a headset at any depth or in any water.

Bluetooth and MP3: two ways to listen
Bluetooth streaming
Bluetooth is the straightforward option when the audio source can stay nearby and maintain a connection. Jabees also lists multipoint connection, which is intended to connect to more than one device; the product information does not establish how that feature behaves in every setup.

Confirm which storage configuration is being sold before buying, and check that your audio is in one of the listed supported formats.
Battery, weight, and included accessories
Jabees’ standalone product page lists up to six hours of playback at 60% volume and about two hours to charge. A separate Jabees bundle page gives an up-to-five-hour battery claim for the 7Seven, so the manufacturer’s published figures conflict; treat runtime as an estimate rather than a guaranteed session length. The standalone page lists the headset at 28.3g.

The 7Seven is most relevant if you want open-ear audio for swimming and want to carry music on the headset rather than rely on a phone connection. Before purchasing, verify the storage version, current availability and price, and Jabees’ current water-use and warranty terms. For swimming, follow the manufacturer’s freshwater depth and duration limits and do not use it for diving or in saltwater.
