Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →You can play Free Fire on a computer by installing NoxPlayer, downloading the game through Google Play inside the emulator, and configuring its keyboard-and-mouse mappings. Start with the preset controls, then adjust them in the mapping panel if needed. Check the labels shown in your NoxPlayer version: saved mappings and defaults can vary.
Install Free Fire in NoxPlayer
- Download and install NoxPlayer from its official distribution for your computer.
- Launch NoxPlayer and open Google Play inside the emulator.
- Search for Free Fire and install it. The game listing or availability may vary by region. NoxPlayer’s setup guide describes this installation flow: NoxPlayer’s Free Fire setup guide.
- Open Free Fire and sign in with your account.
Set up the keyboard and mouse controls
With Free Fire open, open NoxPlayer’s keyboard-mapping control. Choose the preset mapping or configure your own, then save it. NoxPlayer describes both options in its Free Fire setup guide.
If the preset mapping does not appear
First, make sure the game is open before you open the mapping panel. NoxPlayer’s localized support article also suggests starting the game at 1280 × 720 as a workaround. That tip may depend on the NoxPlayer version; if it does not help, check current NoxPlayer support rather than assuming the setting is required.
Know what the documented defaults do
- Movement: WASD is NoxPlayer’s general default for D-pad movement, but the mapping can be customized.
- Shooting mode: NoxPlayer’s Free Fire configuration documents V as the default key to enter shooting mode. This mode hides the cursor and uses mouse movement to control the view.
- Firing: The documented Fire mapping uses the left mouse button.
These are documented defaults, not a guarantee that every installation has the same bindings. Check the on-screen key labels in your saved configuration. NoxPlayer’s FPS key-mapping guide explains shooting mode and its mappings. Its December 23, 2021 update says NoxPlayer 7.0.1.8 and later support separate horizontal and vertical sensitivity adjustments for shooting mode.

Choose a preset or customize it
A preset is the quickest starting point. A custom mapping lets you change keys to suit your preferences. Before relying on either, check that the actions you use are mapped and that aiming and firing feel comfortable. NoxPlayer documents these choices, but the mappings have not been independently tested here.
- Open a low-pressure area of the game to check movement, aiming, firing, and other on-screen actions.
- Use the labels in NoxPlayer’s mapping panel to identify and adjust bindings.
- Save your changes, then confirm the controls still work in the game.
Understand ranked matchmaking for emulator players
Garena’s August 29, 2022 announcement says its emulator matchmaking pool applies to BR and CS ranked modes. Under the policy described there, if a team has one or more emulator players, the whole team is matched against emulator players. Garena says emulator players can be identified by icons on team invitations and that the game displays a notification when one joins a team. Read Garena’s matchmaking announcement, and check current in-game notices for later changes.

Check compatibility and performance expectations
Before installing, consult NoxPlayer’s current system requirements page for the release you plan to use. The requirements values were not readable in the available page content, so no current hardware thresholds can be confirmed here. NoxPlayer’s localized Free Fire article lists older-looking Windows and hardware particulars; do not treat them as current requirements without confirmation from the current requirements page.
NoxPlayer says it installs under D: by default and offers a custom install path. Its requirements page also notes a BitDefender incompatibility when VT is enabled in BIOS; this is a specific compatibility note, not a general reason to disable VT.
