Freedom Mobile’s reported $29-per-month, 60GB Canada-U.S.-Mexico offer was a targeted win-back promotion—not a standard plan shown as available to every former customer. Similar terms were reported again in January 2026, but that does not establish that the offer is available now. Check the written offer sent to your account for its deadline, eligibility rules and full terms.
What was included in the reported offer?
MobileSyrup reported on May 8, 2025, that some former Freedom Mobile customers received an offer for 60GB of data usable in Canada, the United States and Mexico for $29 per month. The report cited a screenshot posted on RedFlagDeals; it was not an announcement that the plan was open to all customers.
- Bring your own device: The reported offer appeared limited to former customers who already owned their phones.
- Connection fee: The screenshot reportedly showed the fee waived.
- Roam Beyond: The offer included a one-time 5GB allotment. This is distinct from the recurring 60GB plan allowance.
- Freedom Internet bundle: Customers who also subscribed to Freedom Internet were reportedly eligible for a $25 monthly price.
These are terms reported from the offer screenshot, not universal plan terms. MobileSyrup’s May 2025 report
Was the offer available again?
Yes, similar terms were reported in January 2026. MobileSyrup described a $29-per-month, 60GB BYOD offer for Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, with a one-time 5GB Roam Beyond allotment and a waived $45 connection fee. Its report cited a screenshot posted to Reddit. That recurrence shows a similar promotion was reported later; it does not prove the May 2025 offer continued or that either promotion is available on October 4, 2026. Freedom’s general plan terms describe plan-dependent full-speed data allowances of 30GB to 100GB, 5G on its network where available, and speeds up to 100 Mbps on partner networks. Those general terms do not establish the availability, eligibility or price guarantee of an individualized win-back offer. Read the applicable plan terms and Fair Usage Policy alongside your offer.
