How the services differ
Paramount+ is a subscription streaming service with premieres, library films, weekly episodes and a reported live sports stream in this month’s schedule. Pluto TV is free with ads, and its May highlights focus on channel launches, themed programming and on-demand titles with a stated availability window.
Blue Ant Media’s April 27, 2026 Canadian partnership announcement described Pluto TV as offering over 200 curated channels and 20,000 hours of content, with access on mobile, web and connected-TV devices. Those are company-reported figures for the service overall—not counts of May additions or independently measured Canada-only catalog totals. See Blue Ant Media for the announcement.
