Spotify’s four-month free Premium offer was a holiday promotion that ended on December 31, 2025—not a generally available offer today. Spotify announced it for new Premium Individual users, with details varying by market. A separate four-month offer appears in Tata Play Binge’s terms for some eligible subscribers, but those terms do not confirm that it can still be redeemed.
What happened to Spotify’s four-month free offer?
On November 25, 2025, Spotify announced that new Premium users could get up to four months of Premium Individual free through December 31, 2025. Spotify said the offer varied by market and directed users to spotify.com/premium to see local availability. The campaign’s stated end date has passed, so that announcement is not evidence of an active four-month offer now. Spotify’s announcement also said returning subscribers might qualify for two months free or at a discount, depending on the market.

Spotify’s general promotional terms say offers ordinarily require that you are new to Premium and Unlimited and have never subscribed or accepted a trial, unless the particular offer explicitly includes past subscribers. Promotions can have additional conditions, so the terms attached to the offer control. Spotify’s promotional offer terms also say a promotion ordinarily becomes a recurring paid subscription at the then-current monthly price unless canceled before it ends.

A separate four-month offer in Tata Play Binge terms
Tata Play’s published terms describe a separate promotion for four months of Spotify Premium Standard. It is for eligible active Tata Play Binge subscribers who are first-time Spotify Premium users and activate through the designated offer journey. The terms say the plan renews at the prevailing price unless canceled before the promotion ends. Tata Play’s terms do not state an offer end date, so they do not establish whether the promotion is currently redeemable. Check the Binge offer journey and its displayed terms before relying on it.

Do not confuse it with a separate US trial
Spotify’s US page separately showed a three-month trial for $0 followed by $12.99 per month, with an offer end date of September 23, 2026. That date has passed, and this was not the four-month holiday campaign or the Tata Play promotion. The US Premium page is not a basis for applying that price or duration to other markets or offers.
