For fast browsing, choose a phone whose cellular bands match your carrier where you use it, and whose Wi-Fi capability fits your router. Samsung Galaxy S26 and Apple iPhone 17 list Wi-Fi 7; Google Pixel 10 lists Wi-Fi 6E. Those specifications show what each phone can support—not which one loads pages fastest. Available manufacturer information does not provide comparable browser-speed or browsing-battery tests for these three models.
How to choose a phone for fast internet
Start with where you browse most. On cellular data, your carrier’s coverage and the exact regional phone model’s supported 5G bands matter more than the phone’s 5G label alone. At home, Wi-Fi performance depends on the router and broadband connection as well as the phone. A newer Wi-Fi specification cannot make a slow broadband plan faster.
- Check your carrier’s coverage at the places you regularly use the phone, including home, work, and your commute.
- Check the exact regional model’s bands against your carrier’s requirements. Names can cover regional variants with different specifications.
- For home browsing, identify your router’s Wi-Fi generation. A phone can use Wi-Fi 7 only when connected to a compatible Wi-Fi 7 router.
- Consider the rest of your setup. Your broadband plan, signal quality, network congestion, and surroundings all affect actual browsing performance.
Phones with strong listed connectivity
The following comparison summarizes manufacturer-listed connectivity, not a ranking from controlled speed tests. Check each maker’s specifications for the precise model sold in your market before buying.
| Phone | Listed connectivity | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Samsung Galaxy S26 | 5G; Wi-Fi 7 | Samsung says 5G service requires an enabled location and an optimal connection; actual speed may vary by market, carrier, and user environment. Wi-Fi 7 availability varies and requires a Wi-Fi 7 router. Samsung specifications. |
| Apple iPhone 17 | 5G with 4×4 MIMO; Wi-Fi 7 with 2×2 MIMO | Apple publishes regional variants and band lists, so verify the model for your market. The listed specifications also include Safari and a 6.3-inch OLED display. Apple technical specifications. |
| Google Pixel 10 | 5G mmWave and Sub-6 GHz; Wi-Fi 6E with 2×2 MIMO | Google lists supported bands for the model on its specifications page; confirm they fit your carrier and region. Google Pixel 10 specifications. |
Which phone is the best fit?
Choose Galaxy S26 if you have compatible Wi-Fi 7
Its listed Wi-Fi 7 support may suit a home network equipped with a Wi-Fi 7 router. Samsung cautions that availability varies, and its 5G performance depends on location, carrier, and user environment. The specification alone does not establish that it browses faster than the other phones.

Choose iPhone 17 if its regional model fits your carrier
Apple lists Wi-Fi 7 and 5G, but the relevant band support depends on the regional variant. Confirm the precise model’s band list before relying on cellular connectivity in a particular market.
Choose Pixel 10 if Wi-Fi 6E meets your needs
Google lists Wi-Fi 6E and support for both mmWave and Sub-6 GHz 5G. Whether its cellular capabilities are useful depends on your carrier’s network and local coverage; Wi-Fi 6E is a different tier from the Wi-Fi 7 listed for the Samsung and Apple examples.

What Wi-Fi 7 and 5G do—and do not—tell you
Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 6E identify supported wireless-network technologies. To use Wi-Fi 7, both the phone and router must support it; the broadband service and conditions on the network still affect internet performance. A Wi-Fi specification does not describe cellular reception.
Likewise, 5G capability does not guarantee a 5G connection everywhere. A phone must support the relevant regional bands, and the carrier must provide service where you are. Samsung states: “Actual speed may vary depending on market, carrier, and user environment.” Its Wi-Fi 7 support also “will require a Wi-Fi 7 router.” These are Samsung’s product qualifications, not independent test findings.

Can you call one of these the fastest for browsing?
Not from the specifications available here. They establish which connectivity technologies the manufacturers list, but they do not provide comparable browser page-load times, carrier throughput measurements, or battery endurance while browsing. There is therefore no evidence-based fastest-phone ranking among these three. For a practical decision, compare regional band compatibility and your network equipment first, then treat the listed Wi-Fi generations as capabilities rather than speed guarantees.
