For easier moving, Wareable’s September 21, 2026 comparison identifies the 22-pound Grooni as its portable pick. HealthyLine offers the broadest size choice, from a 20 × 20-inch mat to a full-body model. For preset-led controls, the comparison lists 13 on Grooni, eight on Hooga, and four each on HealthyLine and HigherDOSE. All five listed models include heat; HealthyLine and BON CHARGE are also described as having red light. These are feature differences, not evidence that a mat treats a health condition.
How to choose a PEMF mat
Start with the practical constraints: available floor or storage space, whether you’ll move the mat often, how much setup you want, and your budget. Then check the exact model’s current dimensions, controls, warranty terms, return policy, and manual with the seller or manufacturer.
- For portability: Wareable lists Grooni at 22 lb, the lightest of these five models.
- For size choice: HealthyLine’s reported range starts at 20 × 20 inches and includes a full-body option.
- For preset sessions: Grooni has the most presets reported in the comparison; BON CHARGE has none reported and requires more setup for a user-set session.
- For add-on features: All five are described as having heating. HealthyLine and BON CHARGE are also described as offering red light.
- For price: Wareable reports prices from $399 for the smallest HealthyLine option to $1,295 for HigherDOSE. These are publication-reported figures, not live quotes.
PEMF stands for pulsed electromagnetic field. Wareable describes mats as delivering low-frequency electromagnetic pulses that users typically do not feel; warmth comes from the heating function. Some products combine PEMF and heat with red light or gemstone materials. Having more features, a higher price, or a wider frequency range does not establish greater clinical effectiveness.

Wareable’s Grooni narrative describes programs spanning 0–100 Hz, while its specification list says 1–100 Hz. Its BON CHARGE section gives two different prices. Confirm both details with the manufacturer or seller rather than relying on one figure.
What the differences mean in everyday use
Size and moving the mat
Weight can matter as much as the listed footprint if you’ll put the mat away after each session. Grooni is reported at 22 lb, Hooga at 24 lb, and the full-size HigherDOSE and BON CHARGE at 43 lb and 42 lb respectively. HealthyLine’s listed sizes vary, so compare the dimensions and weight of the specific version you intend to buy. These figures come from Wareable’s comparison and are not independent measurements.

- Helps in providing chronic pain relief, improving bone health, improving sleep quality, treating neurological conditions, improving mental health and to maintain overall well-being
- Improves micro-circulation, reduces inflammation and accelerates body's regeneration processes. Reverses damage caused by harmful EMF's and dirty electricity
- Low intensity, low frequency device (Max intensity: 210 microtesla or 2 Gauss | Frequency range: 1- 99 Hz)
Presets and setup
Preset counts offer a rough indication of how many saved options are reported, not a guarantee that a particular program suits your needs. Wareable lists 13 for Grooni, eight for Hooga, and four each for HealthyLine and HigherDOSE. It reports no presets for BON CHARGE and says setting a session there takes more setup. Check the current controls and manual for details on adjusting a session.
Heat and other modalities
Each mat is described as having a heating function. HealthyLine and BON CHARGE are also described as including red light, while gemstone materials appear in descriptions of several devices. Treat these as product attributes; the comparison does not establish that they provide an additional health benefit.

Warranty and purchase terms
Wareable lists warranties ranging from one to five years, but does not establish coverage scope or exclusions. Before ordering, check the current warranty, return policy, what accessories are included, and how service is handled. A warranty length alone does not tell you what a seller will cover.
What the product comparison can—and cannot—tell you
Wareable characterizes these mats as wellness devices and cautions against expecting dramatic results. Its comparison does not present product-specific clinical trials showing that any of the five named models treats a disease or guarantees an outcome. Evidence concerning a different PEMF device does not, by itself, demonstrate that these particular mats work for a specific condition.

Wareable says it assessed mats over several weeks in activities and routines including relaxation, stretching, meditation, post-workout recovery, and evening use, considering setup, controls, comfort, materials, customization, heat, noise, portability, storage, and daily usability. That is Wareable’s reported editorial method, not testing conducted for this article. No named-person expert quotation or model-specific clinical statistic is established in the material supporting this guide.
Do not infer that a wider frequency range means better results. The comparison does not establish a universally effective frequency, intensity, or session duration for these products. Consider feature and usability claims separately from medical evidence.

Check safety and regulatory claims before use
Wareable recommends following the specific product manual because there is no universal session duration or frequency for all mats. It suggests starting at lower settings and consulting a healthcare provider before use if you are pregnant, have an implanted medical device, or are managing a specific medical concern. Use the current manual and seek clinician guidance for advice tailored to your circumstances.
A statement such as “FDA compliant” is not the same as a verified FDA clearance for a specific model, nor does it prove that a product treats a condition. The FDA describes 510(k) as a premarket notification process for applicable devices, in which the agency determines substantial equivalence to a legally marketed device. If a seller makes a regulatory claim, check the exact product and indications in the FDA database rather than treating a general phrase as proof.
Which mat may fit your priorities?
- Choose Grooni for a lighter full-size option with many reported presets. Its frequency endpoint and program range are described inconsistently by Wareable, so verify those details.
- Consider HealthyLine if size flexibility matters. Its reported lineup spans compact and full-body dimensions, with four memory presets; compare the specific size, weight, and price.
- Consider HigherDOSE if you want a full-size model with four reported presets. It is among the heavier mats in this comparison, at 43 lb.
- Consider BON CHARGE if red light is a feature you want to compare. No presets are reported, and Wareable gives conflicting listed prices; verify current details before purchase.
- Consider Hooga for a reported full-size option with eight presets. Wareable lists it at 24 lb and $899, but confirm current specifications and price.
These are practical fits based on Wareable’s reported product details, not medical recommendations or proof of treatment effectiveness.
