Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteTo get a Sequoia wallpaper from Apple, first check Apple menu > System Settings > Wallpaper. Apple does not establish a separate Sequoia wallpaper download page in the sources reviewed here. If the wallpaper you want is not available in settings, you can add an image file as a custom wallpaper; a third-party site also lists a Sequoia collection, but it is not verified as Apple-operated or endorsed.
Download a wallpaper through macOS settings
-
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings > Wallpaper. Apple’s Wallpaper settings guide explains how to select wallpapers.
-
Look through the available wallpaper options for the Sequoia image or style you want.
-
If a Dynamic Wallpaper has a down-arrow beside its name, click the image. Apple says the arrow means you need to download the wallpaper before you can use it.

What appears in settings can depend on the Mac and macOS version. Apple’s general instructions do not confirm that every Sequoia wallpaper is available on every current Mac.
Add a downloaded image as a custom wallpaper
If you already have an image file, you can set it through Wallpaper settings rather than treating it as a system-managed Dynamic Wallpaper. Apple’s custom wallpaper instructions describe selecting Add Photo and choosing an image file; the customization guide gives the path Add Photo > Choose File.

Where to find Sequoia wallpaper files
A third-party site lists a macOS 15 Sequoia wallpaper collection. Treat it as a third-party source, not an official Apple download location. The available information does not establish the files’ resolution or format, or whether they behave as static images or dynamic wallpapers.
Apple announced macOS Sequoia as a free Mac software update on September 16, 2024, but that announcement is not a standalone wallpaper download page: Apple’s release announcement.

Use and redistribution
Apple’s cited support pages explain how to select or add wallpaper images, but they do not settle standalone Sequoia artwork redistribution rights. Setting an image as your wallpaper is different from republishing or redistributing its files; do not assume the latter is permitted based on the download instructions alone.
