How the screens, batteries and cameras compare
Display
The Redmi’s reported 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display is slightly smaller and has a higher stated resolution than the Galaxy A57’s 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED+ display. Both are listed at up to 120Hz. These specifications describe the panels, not their brightness, color accuracy or outdoor readability in use.
Battery and charging
The reported Redmi battery capacity is 7,540mAh, compared with Samsung’s 5,000mAh typical figure. The Redmi report also specifies 100W wired charging; Samsung’s cited global specification table does not state a charging rate. To find a useful price difference, compare current listings in the same country, for the same date and the closest available RAM and storage configurations. Check whether tax, discounts or other promotions are included. The available India Redmi launch prices cannot be fairly compared with Samsung’s US starting price or Japan shop price.
