Hands-on reviews found it capable for everyday use and casual gaming, but its cameras struggle with fine detail and low light, and its 6000mAh battery takes a while to refill. Whether it is worth buying now depends on the live price and stock of your preferred variant.
Is the realme P3x 5G worth buying?
It can be a sensible budget 5G phone if your priorities are endurance, a large high-refresh-rate display, and routine performance. It is a weaker fit if you take many night photos, want demanding games to run at higher frame rates, or expect a particularly fast full charge.
91mobiles reviewer Dhruv Joshi rated it 7.5/10 in a review published March 15, 2025 and updated May 9, 2025. He praised its design, durability, display, battery, and routine performance, while identifying camera and software as areas needing improvement. India Today reviewer Unnati Gusain, writing after a week with the phone on February 28, 2025, also considered it a good choice on a tight budget, while flagging low-light photography and charging speed.

Display and design
The India specification lists a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD at 2400 × 1080 resolution, with refresh rates up to 120Hz and official peak brightness of 950 nits. The higher refresh rate can make scrolling and supported animations feel smoother than on a conventional 60Hz screen. It remains an LCD, however, rather than the higher-contrast AMOLED panel available on some competing phones.

India Today’s Unnati Gusain noted thick bezels and warned that accidental contact with the fingerprint sensor could trigger failed unlock attempts. These are practical considerations if you prefer a more immersive-looking front or often grip a phone near its sensor.
Performance and gaming
The P3x uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 6400 5G chipset and runs realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, according to realme’s India specifications. 91mobiles found browsing, video, light multitasking, and casual gaming smooth, but cautioned that heavy workloads and demanding games are not its strength.
In 91mobiles’ tests, COD: Mobile held 50fps at medium settings, while BGMI was capped at 30fps on medium settings. These are results from that outlet’s testing, not guarantees for every game session, software version, or temperature condition. The figures suggest the phone is better suited to casual play than to buyers seeking consistently high frame rates in demanding titles.

How good are the realme P3x 5G cameras?
The rear cameras are a 50MP main camera and a 2MP portrait camera; the front camera is 8MP. The 50MP figure describes sensor resolution, not a guarantee of image quality.

Taken together, the reviews point to cameras that can manage everyday daylight snapshots and portraits, but are not a strong reason to choose this phone if image detail or night photography is a priority.

These are outlet-specific observations, not a single standardized battery-life promise. Screen brightness, network conditions, gaming, and other usage can change both runtime and recharge time. The large capacity is the clearest battery advantage; the charging results show that a refill is not especially quick for a 6000mAh cell.
Durability claims: what IP68/IP69 means here
Realme says the P3x passed IP68 and IP69 tests under controlled laboratory conditions according to GB/T 4208-2017 / IEC 60529-2013. For its IP68 test, realme specifies still clear water at 2m for 30 minutes. The company also says the phone passed MIL-STD 810H shock-resistance testing. These are manufacturer-described test results, not a promise that every device will survive every spill, immersion, or impact.

Realme lists two India configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. Its specifications also advertise up to 18GB of dynamic RAM; this is a software-assisted memory feature, not the same thing as having 18GB of physical RAM. The listed SIM tray supports either two Nano SIMs or one Nano SIM plus one card. Check the exact local variant and tray configuration before relying on card expansion.
91mobiles reported 63 preinstalled apps on the P3x in its 2025 review. That is a reviewer-reported count; preinstalled apps and their removability can vary with software updates or region. Its comparison table also lists two OS upgrades and three years of security support, but the official specifications cited here do not state that policy, so verify support commitments with realme before buying on that basis.
Realme’s official box contents include a 45W adapter, Type-C cable, protective case, and screen-protect film. A new-phone buyer therefore does not need to budget for those as necessary first-purchase add-ons.

Check live listings, seller, variant, and stock before treating any price as a buying option. At a price close to its launch band, weigh the battery and durability claims against its camera limitations and more modest gaming headroom.
91mobiles names the Vivo T4x and POCO M7 Pro as relevant alternatives. If screen contrast or performance is more important than battery endurance, compare those models’ current India variants directly.

The realme P3x 5G is an endurance-focused budget phone with a smooth FHD+ LCD, respectable everyday performance, and manufacturer-tested protection claims that come with explicit wear-and-use qualifications. Its main compromises are camera detail—especially in low light—limited demanding-game performance, preinstalled apps, and charging that is merely moderate for the battery size. Consider it if those strengths match your priorities and the live deal is competitive; look elsewhere if strong cameras, an AMOLED display, or gaming headroom matter more.
