Start the quest with Agatha
The quest follows Herbert and? in the recorded quest chain. After giving Herbert the Love Novel, choose “Read for my friend” when speaking with Agatha. You need at least 20 Nun reputation for the conversation. GK2DB’s quest record lists the prerequisite and reputation gate; Neoseeker’s Agatha walkthrough describes the preceding conversation.
Where to find Agatha
For this quest, meet Agatha at the Crossroads. Her broader character route begins at the Village Tavern and continues to the church; her home is the old well house at the Crossroads. Neoseeker’s character walkthrough gives those location details.
Unlock Church Music I
The choir is unlocked through Church Music I. Agatha’s character progression guide places that node after Church Carpets and her 30-reputation node. Neoseeker reports a research cost of 50 red and 20 blue technology points, but that cost is a walkthrough figure, not an official game statement. Check the walkthrough’s Agatha progression route if you need to trace the unlock sequence.

- Gather the choir materials: 4 Oiled Planks, 2 Bronze Details, and 4 Music Notes, as listed in New Wikily’s quest data.
- Assemble the choir at the church after unlocking Church Music I.
- Return to Agatha at the Crossroads and tell her the choir is ready.
- Hold a ceremony at the church to complete the final objective. GK2DB’s quest entry records the completion reward as 10 Nun reputation and 2 Town Gratitude.
Is assigning a zombie to the choir stand required?
One walkthrough updated September 28, 2026, recommends assigning a zombie to the choir stand before the ceremony. However, the quest objectives recorded by the game-data sources require building the choir, reporting it to Agatha, and holding the ceremony; they do not list zombie assignment. Treat the zombie as an unconfirmed precaution rather than a required quest step. The walkthrough making the suggestion is the only reviewed source that mentions it.

The recorded objectives are to ask Agatha whether she can read for Herbert, assemble a choir at the church and tell Agatha at the Crossroads, then hold a ceremony at the church. These entries clarify the sequence: report back to Agatha between building the choir and conducting the ceremony. GK2DB’s quest record contains the journal wording.
