How do their cameras compare?

The Phone (3) has three listed rear cameras, including a periscope telephoto camera with up to 3× optical zoom. The Phone (4b) is listed with a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide, without a telephoto module in the comparison. That gives the Phone (3) more listed focal-length options. The Phone (3)’s front camera is listed at 50 MP and the Phone (4b)’s at 16 MP; megapixel counts alone do not establish which phone takes better photos.

Nothing’s Phone (4b) product page confirms its 50 MP main camera and 4K video recording. Neither these specifications nor the available listing establish comparative real-world image quality.

Battery capacity and charging: an unresolved 4b specification

The comparison page lists the Phone (3) at 5,150 mAh and the Phone (4b) at 6,000 mAh, with wired charging ratings of 65 W and 33 W respectively. However, Android Central’s July 7, 2026 report gives the Phone (4b) a 5,200 mAh battery. Because these sources conflict, the Phone (4b)’s capacity is not settled here; check the official specification sheet for your market before relying on it. Battery capacity by itself also does not prove longer use between charges.

Nothing Support says a full Phone (4b) charge takes approximately 86 minutes using the official Nothing charger under its stated recommended conditions. It recommends a PPS-protocol charger for optimal charging, with room temperature and the screen off among the stated conditions. See Nothing Support’s charging guidance. This is not a head-to-head charging-time comparison with the Phone (3).

Software support and buying checks

Android Central reported that Nothing promised three years of Android OS updates and six years of security patches for the Phone (4b). 91mobiles lists five years of OS updates and seven years of security updates for the Phone (3), but that listing does not establish an official Nothing policy. If software-support duration is decisive, verify current terms with Nothing for both models and your region.

Before choosing between local offers, compare the details that can change by market or seller:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • The total local price and whether the exact offer is in stock.
  • The RAM and storage configuration; the figures compared here are 12/256 GB for Phone (3) and 8/128 GB for Phone (4b).
  • Display size and resolution, and whether the Phone (3)’s telephoto camera and optical zoom matter to you.
  • The official regional battery specification for Phone (4b), given the conflicting published capacities.
  • Network compatibility and warranty terms for the specific model and seller; the cited comparison does not settle these details.
  • Current official software-support terms if update longevity is a priority.

Which Nothing phone should you choose?

Choose the Phone (3) if

  • You want the stronger chipset listed by 91mobiles.
  • You value a rear telephoto camera with up to 3× optical zoom and a three-camera setup.
  • You want the higher listed resolution and the larger compared RAM/storage configuration.

Choose the Phone (4b) if

  • Your priority is the lower price in the Austria store snapshot, subject to checking today’s local offer.
  • You prefer the larger listed display diagonal.
  • You are comfortable checking the regional battery specification rather than assuming one of the conflicting published capacities is definitive.

There is no market-independent winner from these specifications alone: the better buy depends on your local price, configuration and priorities.
