The standard moto g77 is the better fit if you want the listed AMOLED display and 108MP main camera; the moto g77 Power 5G is the battery-first choice, with a much larger battery but a heavier body and LCD screen. Both list a Dimensity 6400 processor and 30W charging. There is no reliable same-market price comparison in the available listings, so check live offers for matching configurations before choosing.

What is the difference between Moto G77 and G77 Power?

Display: AMOLED versus LCD

The G77 has the stronger listed display specification: it uses AMOLED, while the Power uses LCD. The G77 is also slightly larger at 6.78 inches versus 6.72 inches. These panel categories and specifications do not establish which screen looks better in independent testing, but they make the G77 the clearer choice on paper if AMOLED is important to you.

Cameras: higher resolution on the G77

The G77 lists a 108MP main camera, compared with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera on the Power. Both have an 8MP ultrawide and a 32MP front camera. A higher megapixel count does not by itself demonstrate better photo quality, and the available specifications do not provide a comparative camera test.

Battery: the Power has greater capacity

The Power lists a 7,000mAh typical battery (6,790mAh rated), versus 5,200mAh typical (5,100mAh rated) for the G77. Motorola gives maximum battery-life estimates of up to 59 hours for the Power and approximately 37 hours for the G77 under optimal, mixed-use conditions on its UK product page. Those estimates come from separate regional materials, not a controlled head-to-head test, so they should not be used as a direct measure of the runtime difference.

Size and protection

In the listed variants, the Power weighs 215g and is 8.89mm thick; the G77 is 182g and 7.33mm thick. Both list IP64 and MIL-STD-810H. IP64 does not mean the phones are submersible, so do not treat these ratings as permission to use either device underwater.

Regional connectivity and software details

The UK G77 specification lists NFC and nano-SIM plus eSIM, while the India Power specification lists no NFC and dual physical nano-SIM. The same source pages show different graphics variants despite both phones listing the Dimensity 6400. Motorola’s India page specifies one OS upgrade and three years of security patches for the Power; the reviewed UK G77 pages do not establish a comparable update commitment. Verify the model number, carrier bands, SIM arrangement, NFC availability, storage expansion limit, and support policy for the version sold where you live.

Which Moto G77 should you choose?

Choose the moto g77 if display and camera specifications matter most

  • Pick the G77 if you prioritize its AMOLED panel over the Power’s LCD.
  • Its 108MP main camera has higher nominal resolution than the Power’s 50MP main camera, though that alone does not establish better photos.
  • It is the lighter, thinner option in the listed variants.

Choose the moto g77 Power if battery capacity is your priority

  • Its listed battery capacity is substantially higher than the G77’s.
  • It also lists 6W wired reverse charging.
  • That trade-off comes with a heavier, thicker phone and an LCD display.

Moto G77 Power price and the real price difference

A 91mobiles comparison snapshot showed the G77 Power at ₹25,117 on Amazon India while marking the standard G77 as upcoming and unavailable. The page also contains inconsistent release and availability context, so ₹25,117 is not a confirmed current price and does not establish a dependable price gap (91mobiles comparison page).

What to check before buying

  • Exact regional model: Confirm the model number and supported network bands with your carrier.
  • SIM and NFC: Check whether your local version has eSIM, dual physical SIM, and NFC; the documented UK and India variants differ.
  • Storage expansion: The cited pages list microSD support up to 2TB for the UK G77 and 1TB for the India Power.
  • Charger in the box: Motorola says the G77 charger may be sold separately and included chargers vary by market; check the Power package in your country as well.
  • Software support and warranty: Confirm the local model’s update policy and warranty rather than assuming the India Power commitment applies elsewhere.
