The OnePlus Nord 6 is the stronger paper choice if battery capacity and chipset tier matter most; the realme 16 Pro 5G stands out for its higher-resolution cameras and was ₹2,000 cheaper in one 91mobiles price snapshot. That is not a permanent price gap or proof of better photos: prices vary by source and configuration, and the available sources do not provide controlled camera or performance tests comparing the phones.

Which one should I buy?
Choose the OnePlus Nord 6 for battery capacity and chipset tier
The Nord 6 has a 9,000mAh rated battery, 2,000mAh more capacity than the realme 16 Pro 5G. Android Central reviewer Harish Jonnalagadda said the Nord lasted two days even with heavy use in his experience; that is a reviewer’s result, not a guarantee for every user. Screen settings, network conditions and workload affect battery life.
The Nord’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is the higher-tier listed chipset compared with the realme’s Dimensity 7300-Max. That makes the Nord the more compelling specification choice if processor capability is a priority, but the available sources do not establish a controlled head-to-head performance result.

Consider the realme 16 Pro 5G for camera resolution
The realme lists a 200MP main rear camera and 50MP front camera, compared with the Nord’s 50MP main and 32MP front cameras. Those figures indicate higher nominal resolution, not necessarily better images: sensor characteristics, processing and shooting conditions also matter. The available sources do not include a controlled camera comparison, so choose based on independent sample photos or a hands-on comparison if image quality is decisive.
Both have large, high-refresh-rate displays
The listed display sizes are close, and both phones advertise refresh rates above 120Hz. The Nord is listed at 165Hz and the realme at 144Hz. Refresh rate alone does not show how bright a display stays or how it looks in different conditions, and the cited comparison does not provide independently measured display results.

What is the price difference?
In a 2026 91mobiles listing snapshot, the OnePlus Nord 6 was listed at ₹46,999 and the realme 16 Pro 5G at ₹44,999, making the realme ₹2,000 less in that snapshot. These are comparison-site listing prices, not fixed official prices or a guaranteed checkout total. Smartprix and NDTV Gadgets 360 show different price snapshots, so the gap can change with date, seller and configuration.
Android Central reported Nord 6 India launch prices of ₹38,999 for 8GB/256GB and ₹41,999 for 12GB/256GB in 2026. Those are historical launch prices, not current quotes; do not compare them directly with a live listing unless the RAM, storage, seller and sale terms match.

Check the offer before deciding
- Compare the same RAM and storage capacity for both phones.
- Check the exact seller, stock status and final checkout price, including any conditional bank or exchange discounts.
- Recheck the price close to purchase; a comparison page’s listed amount can differ from the price available at checkout.
How to weigh software support
Both phones are listed with Android 16. The cited comparison lists four years of OS updates and six years of security updates for the Nord 6, while 91mobiles lists three OS-update years and four security-update years for the realme 16 Pro 5G. Android Central separately reports the Nord’s commitment. The realme update term here comes from the comparison listing, rather than a primary realme support statement, so verify it with realme before treating it as definitive.

For a buyer prioritizing the larger rated battery and higher-tier listed chipset, the OnePlus Nord 6 is the more convincing specification-led choice. If higher camera resolution or a lower offer matters more, compare the realme 16 Pro 5G carefully. Decide using the same storage configuration and current checkout prices, and do not treat megapixels or listed chipset tier as a substitute for a direct camera or performance comparison.
