What the specification differences mean
Screen size and handling
POCO’s listed 6.9-inch screen is 0.2 inches larger diagonally than Samsung’s 6.7-inch display. Both are listed as HD+ panels with a 120Hz refresh rate, so the published figures distinguish them mainly by size, not resolution or refresh rate. A larger screen may suit video and reading, while the Samsung is listed as lighter at 199g versus POCO’s 211g. These specifications alone do not establish which phone is more comfortable to hold.

Each phone is listed with a 6,000mAh battery. POCO’s 33W charging rate is reported by Gadgets 360; Samsung’s official launch announcement specifies 25W for the Galaxy F70e. Those figures indicate a higher listed charging rate for POCO, but do not establish charging time, real-world battery life or whether a compatible charger is included in either box.

The comparison reports IP64 for POCO and IP54 for Samsung. Treat these as reported ingress ratings, not a promise that either device is safe to submerge or that liquid damage is covered by warranty. Check the manufacturer’s warranty terms for the exact model.

Price difference: what is known
Samsung’s 9 February 2026 India launch announcement gave net effective prices of ₹12,499 for the 4GB+128GB Galaxy F70e and ₹13,999 for the 6GB+128GB version, including bank cashback. It also mentioned an additional limited-time ₹500 launch offer. These are historical launch terms, not current prices. See Samsung’s launch announcement for the offer context.
A current, matched India selling price for both phones is not established by the sources cited here, so there is no dependable present-day price difference to calculate. For a fair check, compare the same RAM and storage tier where available and note the date, seller, listed price and any conditional bank, exchange or card offer separately. If only different configurations are in stock, report that mismatch instead of presenting their prices as a like-for-like gap.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Galaxy F70e if update support matters most
Samsung says the Galaxy F70e will receive six years of OS and security updates. That is a documented support commitment in the cited sources; they do not establish an equivalent POCO support period. If long-term software support is a deciding factor, Samsung has the stronger evidence on this point.
Consider the POCO C85 5G for a larger display or higher listed charging rate
POCO’s comparison listing gives it the larger 6.9-inch display and 33W charging, compared with Samsung’s 6.7-inch display and officially announced 25W charging. Those are specification-sheet advantages for readers prioritizing screen size or the stated charging rate, not proof of better viewing, faster full charges or superior overall performance.
Decide only after checking the exact variant and live offer
Before ordering, confirm RAM and storage, software version, current stock, charger-in-box contents and warranty terms for the precise India SKU. Then compare equivalent configurations at the same time; launch offers and effective prices can change, and an advertised bank benefit may not apply to every buyer.
