Priority ERP describes a connected distribution workflow that links purchasing and receiving with inventory, warehouse execution, order fulfillment, delivery planning, and mobile proof of delivery. In that model, goods and order information move from inbound receipt through picking and dispatch to a recorded delivery outcome. The exact workflows and integrations available depend on the modules and implementation; Priority’s descriptions establish intended capabilities, not that every feature is enabled by default.

How the Priority ERP delivery cycle fits together

Priority Software says its platform connects procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, Advanced Delivery Planning (ADP), and Proof of Delivery (POD). The sequence below explains how those functions relate operationally; it is based on Priority’s product descriptions, not an independent product test.

  1. Procure and receive: purchasing and receiving bring goods into the supply chain and provide the upstream input for inventory and fulfillment planning.
  2. Record and store inventory: warehouse workflows put received goods away and maintain inventory visibility as items move through the facility.
  3. Fulfill orders: warehouse staff pick and pack items against orders, with replenishment supporting stock availability.
  4. Plan and dispatch deliveries: ADP supports delivery scheduling, route planning, and driver task management in connection with warehouse work.
  5. Confirm the outcome: drivers can use the mobile POD workflow to record delivery activity, customer confirmation, or exceptions such as returns and undelivered goods.

Priority’s wholesale distribution and logistics page presents these capabilities as a single-platform offering. That describes the product’s intended scope; it does not establish that all steps require no configuration or third-party integration.

What warehouse management covers

Priority describes its warehouse management system (WMS) as supporting real-time inventory tracking and the operational steps of put-away, picking, packing, and replenishment. Its product material describes visibility from goods receipt through dispatch. The SCM process product tour also presents mobile warehouse execution, inventory counts, and lot and serial tracking.

These capabilities matter because fulfillment depends on more than a recorded stock balance: receiving, storage location, traceability, and order picking all affect what can be dispatched. Which workflows are native, enabled, or configured for a particular deployment must be confirmed with Priority or the implementation provider.

Customer examples: scanning and inventory control

Priority’s Eastronics case study describes a WMS deployment using barcode scanning, rule-based bin assignment, FIFO handling, and lot control. The case study also reports that Eastronics reduced an inventory count from three days to half a day, an 83% reduction. This is a customer-specific result reported by Priority; the page reviewed does not state a publication year, and the figure is not a general performance guarantee.

How order fulfillment connects to dispatch

Priority presents order processing and fulfillment as connected to inventory and warehouse operations. Operationally, the useful handoff is the relationship between an order, the stock allocated to it, the warehouse work required to pick and pack it, and its readiness for dispatch. Priority’s published descriptions establish that intended connection, but do not specify every status update, integration, or workflow rule in a given customer installation.

That is a named customer report reproduced by Priority, not an independently verified benchmark or a forecast for other distributors; the page reviewed does not state a year.

Package and geographic availability should be verified for the specific deployment before relying on any of these functions.

What the documented workflow does—and does not—establish

Priority’s material describes an end-to-end set of capabilities, but it does not by itself answer several implementation questions that matter in a real distribution operation:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Which receiving, put-away, picking, packing, replenishment, cycle-count, and traceability workflows are included, and which require configuration or separate modules?
  • Which mobile devices, barcode formats, interfaces, or hardware models are supported? Validate the exact scanner and connection requirements rather than inferring compatibility from general references to handheld devices.
  • How are inventory movements and order status shared between WMS and delivery planning, and how quickly do changes appear?
  • Can route plans account for the operation’s actual constraints, and how are failed deliveries, returns, and driver tasks handled?
  • What information can POD capture, and what functions remain available while a driver is offline?
  • Which carrier, third-party logistics provider (3PL), or customer-tracking integrations are needed, and who implements and supports them?
  • What is included in the proposed deployment, what must be configured, and how will performance be compared with the organization’s baseline?

Priority’s published material supports describing warehouse, delivery-planning, and POD capabilities. It does not establish a particular carrier or 3PL integration, a specific scanner’s compatibility, implementation duration, or a typical customer result. Those details require confirmation for the intended edition, geography, and deployment.
